Julia: Twitter Tells a Story

cheeky_geeky: Doing her best Georgetown student impression is @juliaallison at #sxsw: twitpic.com/24whm

---

mikeee: Just witnessed @juliaallison up close. She was quite rudely trying to get someone to move. Not a good first impression!

immunity: @mikeee thanks for having my back, literally vs. @juliaallison from TwitterBerry

---

cinevegas: @ajv and (of course) @juliaallison in attendance. AJ didn't get to sit up front while Julia got "back cuts" to get a seat in front. #sxsw

Julia: Dressed Like A Tour Bus Guide

After a fairly revolting (food-wise) breakfast with Shira Lazar, Randi Zuckerberg and Brittany Bohnet.

I take it she didn't like the food. It was apparently some low-end fast food chain, so, um, hello?

And I have nothing against dressing down and making yourself appear as though you'll soon be at the microphone pointing out the delights of downtown Austin for the trolley-bus tourist crowd. I just find it odd that no matter how down she dresses, the makeup has always been applied with a trowel. You can't see it so much in this photo but there's another one taken indoors where it's apparent she has spent an hour plastering it on.

Other than that, there is really nothing to report. She is tedious.

Julia: An Event Isn't An Event Without The Blue Steel

There she is, Derek Zoolander, hanging out with the ex-girlfriend of the man she's cyber-stalking and determined to have sex with. Why no wangs this trip, Jackles? Remember? He said he likes bangs!

And I see she paid no attention to Meghan's advice and wore the Halloween outfit anyway. There's a little pleated navy blue mini-skirt with thigh-high grey suede boots at the bottom of this ensemble -- classy. Nothing like dressing like a slutty schoolgirl while doing the Blue Steel!

Meghan: Growing a Sack?

From the other one's blog:

Dressing up is hard to do...

Julia: Should I wear this?

Me: Well, if you want to look like it’s Halloween you should wear that.

Julia: I always dress like it’s Halloween!

Also, the other one wins a prize this conference for actually blogging content. Unlike previous trips to CES and DLD when the wireless mysteriously crapped out at two mega-conferences from which hundreds of media were filing, Meghan is actually working this trip and it's really quite interesting! Did you know a battery charger is being developed that will charge all manner of gadget batteries in five seconds? Yes! Thanks Megs!

Meghan's enthusiasm for blogging seems to have been jumpstarted by the thrill of knowing Nonsociety/TMI has a bright future ahead in the backs of taxi cabs, or perhaps by a rumored new set of hooters.

South Times South West

I be honest, peoples. I too bored by Yulia and the other one to give shit about what they are doing at this piano bar conference in Austin.

Yulia post tedious Long Island University quotes like this:
"Research has shown that most people are unbelievably bad at predicting what will give them sustained, long term happiness."
- Tony Hsieh, Zappos’ CEO. I find this fascinating.

The other one has actually manage to write some intelligent words about the thingie where they are, but I too drunk to pay attention.

What happen to the good old days?

I go neuter the family dog Yakov now.
