“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”
-Dr. Seuss
Thank you to reader Arwen S. for this classic quote.
I look forward now to the inevitable day that Jackles starts dressing up like Cindy-Lou Who.
She might want to sink her teeth into this Dr. Seuss quote as well: "Step with care and great tact."
If JABA the Nut had even an ounce of self-awareness, she'd have tossed in a quote about constantly using [redacted] when she wants people to think she's got something interesting going on in her pathetic, kookoo life.
ReplyDeleteLet me just say that I read the title of this post without having read the content, and was rolling my eyes as I took a sip of water. I completely GUESSED that this would be the quote used and VOILA. I haven't laughed so hard in a looong time. LMAO, Oh Jules.. this quote was by an individual and about individuals. It doesn't apply to you!
ReplyDeleteJulia once again trying to tell everyone that her behavior is totally okay.
ReplyDeleteYep, here it is in a nutshell... she herself doesn't know who she is, hardly ever says what she feels, and cares entirely too much about those who "don't matter" but mind, while those that don't mind (aside from family and friends that appear to be in short supply and whose judgement and concern we question quite regularly) really, truly don't matter. Irony is simply dripping off this post/quote usage.
ReplyDeleteCan we please pair this quote with the video of her going, "Yes, I AM the Real Life Carrie Bradshaw!"?
ReplyDelete. . .true, except for Julia. Those that 'matter', and those who's approval and respect she craves, can't stand her or her antics.
ReplyDeleteRight, Julia?
Goodness, how inspiring. Dr. Seuss must be some kind of genius tech biz startup guru.
ReplyDeleteJulia, dear, put down the cupcake and the mirror and listen up. That quote doesn't really apply to running a BUSINESS, you nincompoop. Ask anyone in customer service if they think you should say what you feel because the customers (you know, the ones who matter) won't mind.
You can be your twee little self all the livelong day on your personal pink non-monetized "Dear Diary" blog. If you want sponsors and money, you might want to look into providing something people want to read (buy) that they can't get anywhere else.
Waaaaaaaah, why can't people just pay me for being me?? I'm special!! I make people smile with my pretty pink antics!! Waaaaaaaah!
