JuliaTwit: Still Begging Ashton Kutcher To Acknowledge Her
This is getting sad. How many times has Jackles Twittered Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, only to have them ignore her?
# @aplusk - This made me want to get married; all my future boyfriends are cursing you. (RT Ashton's packing list - http://qik.com/ashton)about 4 hours ago from web in reply to aplusk
This twitter makes no sense. Shouldn't it read "my future boyfriend is cursing you." I guess she is finally making a tacit admission that nobody will ever marry her.
Dear Julia: Ashton isn't going to follow you back. Please stop stalking my step dad. It's creepy. This amounts to you acting like your fauxtographer stalker. And you're better than that, right? Right?????
Actually, Rumer Willis, I happen to believe that these two are a match made in heaven.
The future boyfriendS could indeed be a Freudian slip indicating that deep inside she knows that right now the chances for project trophy wife are rather slim.
Then again, the evil dwarf living inside me just suggested what fun it would be in the event of a Julia Allison marriage to delight the wedding guest with a best of her performances over the year. As the internet never forgets anything, this should make for a phantastic video :-)
So Julia is basically admitting that all her future boyfriends will never want to marry her? Perhaps she's actually developing some self awareness after all!
Speculative interpretation ON/ It could also mean that she feels she has to kiss many frogs (but not have sex with them) before, finally, Mr. Right/Big/Prince Charming is identified. /Speculative interpretation OFF
No, because if you are intent on marriage, then you only have "a future boyfriend." Anyway, it probably should read: "This made me want to get married; my future husband is cursing you." That works on many levels.
Anon 5.09, But what if a person is intent on marriage as she obviously is and the "right" person refuses to come along? I am pretty sure that what she meant to say was "my future husband", but I still think it's possible she considers the fact that there will be more than one boyfriend ahead because, in her view, most of the guys are probably getting it wrong. You see, I seriously doubt that she is able to admit being even partially responsible for the failing of previous relationships. Also, the "I have 10 guys on standby"-shtick implies that she has chosen to cast her net wide. Then again, consistency and inner logic is not the first thing that comes to mind when looking at the oh so many things she utters every day, so why bother making sense of it...
If you are intent on marriage and you want to "cast the net wide" then you may have several concurrent boyfriends, not several consecutive "future boyfriends". Obviously, things might not work out, but I think that to a prior assume that things will not work out means that you are not really intent on marriage or, more accurately, that you are not really ready for marriage even if you are "intent" on it.
Anon 6.34, essentially your last sentence pretty much sums up what I believe this person to be: "intent" on but far from ready and probably not even fully aware of even the seemingly perfect marriage, ah even long term cohabitation, being a lot of (worthwile) work for both partners.
There is no way JAB understands the work that goes into making a marriage successful. When she finally does get married, it will not last unless the guy is a total victim-type...passive and no self-esteem. She is just massively self-absorbed. She probably pictures marriage as a neverending rom-com, where the man puts her on a pedestal and continues worshiping her until one of them dies.
I didn't realize it wasn't already Julia's dream to get married married married!

Julia also sent a Tweet to Sarah Lane saying something Sarah wrote is resonating with her at the moment.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't you know it, a few years ago Sarah Lane was in a relationship with, yes you've guessed it, Kevin Rose.

ReplyDeleteDie? What? Julia is immortal, she told me so.
ReplyDeleteEvery once in a while I reply to people who don't follow me. People I don't expect to follow me.
