Watch Meghan in this. She tried to play along but then realizes she can't get a word in. Near the end, when Juila's talking about CEOs, Meghan looks off, makes a "Give me a break," face, and sorta rolls her eyes. It's PRICELESS.
Did anyone ever have any doubt as to the real reason for Julia's San Francisco birthday party? It's her own personal California Gold (Digging) Rush. How slobberingly desperate.
I was at the TechCrunch party the first time they showed up. They were the only two women dressed up scandalous thin bright colored dresses while the others wore more subdued work clothes--the party was on a Friday after work anyways.
I was there when they showed up again last year, and like before all they really did was search around looking for someone famous to talk to or groups of famous people to insert themselves in.
Here's the thing about Silicon Valley: it's a small community and half of the dorks you talk to are the ones running the companies that you're trying suck up to.
My buddy--works for a popular website--tried to talk to her because they actually WORKED together on a project but she clearly forgot and didn't bother continuing the conversation the second she spied a Facebook VP walking past us and just rudely walked away to chase after him.
HELLOOOO READERS!!! I's MEEEEE again. I had to take a little snoozer after staying up all night last night looking at dresses online, but I am sure all those rich, subdued dorks will really appreciate all the thought and hours of shopping and research I put into choosing my BIRTHDAY BALLGOWN!!
Listening to the Little Mermaid soundtrack today, it made me remember when the movie came out in 1989. I was nine years old and it was basically the greatest time of my pretty pretty princess life. Oh, how I wish I could go back to those carefree days where I didn't have to work, I could dream about boys all day and plan what great outfit I was going to wear next. So. Much. Fun.
Y'all, can I just be honest for a minute? It's SO. SO. HARD. to run a Web 2.0 business, as I am sure these San Fran folks know. That's why I just need to take some time to go on vacation to blow off steam, shop online or catch a movie like Confessions of a Shopaholic. So relatable, right? I'll post some of my favorite quotes later on on my twitter and you can see what I mean.
Well, that's all for now bunnies!!! I really miss my dog, but Meghan said I couldn't leave her in the pool house where I am staying. Something about one of us peeing on the rug. Not sure what that is about. ANYWHOO. Whoot. Just over 24 hours until my party. Yay.com, yay.org, yay.net and everything else!
P.S. - Kevin, I called, emailed, texted, facebooked and tweeted you. Not sure why I haven't heard back from you. Let me know you got them, pleeeease.
I am sure all of her 455 Facebook friends are waiting with bated breath to see what the new venue will be, because EVERYONE CARES ABOUT HER AND HER EVERY CONCERN! Clueless hag. What a poorly planned mess. I'd be surprised if 20 people showed up.
Oh how funny! She changed it...WHAT A PARTY PLANNER!!! I wonder if she learned how douche Slide is?? How 'undorky' it is...how 22 yr old it is...how expensive it is?? hahahahaa
Now we know how weak this party truly is. You cant be expecting a large/DISTINGUISHED crowd when you go and change the venue the day before...LOSERS UNITE!
Thanks, Slide doesn't allow dresses! I'm trying to think of the perfect use for the assistant@nonsociety.com e-mail address on the invite page.
Perhaps the person at that address would like more information about the Jehovah's Witnesses or Amway. Oh well, there's no need to choose just one new penpal for them.
Wait--was the venue change really because "Slide doesn't allow dresses"? Because if so, she probably read it here (or mis-read it; the comments said that the bouncers won't allow skirts or dresses on the slide AT Slide.)
So she was planning to slide into the club wearing a dress? I guess that embarrasing spectacle she made of herself on the mechanical dildo in Munich was deliberate!
Here is the FB invite, 7:06, but as of 10:15 pm EST, the new venue has yet to be announced:
Julia & Randi will celebrate their birthdays this year with a weekend of celebration in San Francisco (Fri, Feb 27) and New York City (Sat, Feb 28) in an effort to raise awareness/funds for Charity:Water and Women for Women International.
THEME: Pink/Blue - Please come dressed in one of our these colors in honor of the non-profits we are supporting!
Please join us in one (or both) of these fine cities to celebrate with a conscience.
Special thanks to our hosts: February 27th, San Francisco (co-hosted by Sarah Lacy, Dave Morin & Brian Solis)
February 28th, New York (co-hosted by Gary Vaynerchuk, Krystal Kahler, Mary Rambin & Meghan Asha, and Rana Sobhany)
Laffin' at Mary Rambin sponsoring Jackles' NY b-day party, a mere two weeks after her own b-day. Why isn't hers being celebrated along with J-Hole's and the Suckerblerg's?
OMG, that invite is so sorely lacking in details. Pink and blue are a theme?? Blue for charity:water because water is...blue? Pink is for Women to Women International because women have breasts and, therefore have an acute awareness of...breast cancer ribbons?? Way to think inside the box, ladies.
The charity:water website is doine in black and white. Women to Women International is black and orange. Bet you a million cupcakes that Jankles hasn't visited either one.
Julia is completely copying a handful of other woman entrepreneurs in every way and trying to pass it off as herself, again. Is this woman ever actually truly her own person?
Ugh, the voice. It grates.
ReplyDeleteOh la, this is funny. Some things just never change, do they?
ReplyDeleteLoudly braying? Check.
Only one on the planet? Check.
Meghanaise grimacing for the camera? Check.
And the 'sisters' are back in SF to do it all over again. Whoot! -- as Meghanaise would say.
bay area bunnies, let's go to say hi to julia at her party on friday. fameballs {at} gmail. w00t!

ReplyDeleteThe great thing about this video is that it was shot pre-NonSociety. Meghanaise knew exactly what she was getting into.
ReplyDeleteKeviN rose Video..make sure to look at end for JA question:

@Julia's Brain: I always imagine your posts being shrieked by a vibrating blob of pink frosting. Good times.

Hello everyone I decided to see why JA is constantly reading this site..
ReplyDeleteSo you really think we should recast NS as a comedy
Peace, Meghan Asha
Meghan Parikh, is that you? :)

ReplyDeleteOh my god, she seriously does not let anyone get a word in. Shut that gaping maw.
