RB: Julia, the backdated inauguration posts

Our Lady has "corrected" her inauguration coverage, bunnies! Here are all the backdated posts for your pleasure:

For some reason I took no less than seven (7) photos with YouTube founder Chad Hurley. Here is one of the more sober-approximating ones.

I don’t 100% remember why, exactly, this occurred … but I blame the two enormous glasses of white wine which somehow found their way into my hands.

I think I actually jumped up and down with excitement when I met him.

I wasn’t kidding. Seriously. There are like fourteen more where this came from.

Larry, Ali and Rachel.

To be honest, I got a little overwhelmed meeting Larry.

With Alex at the inaugural parade. He was manning a crew from CNN and I wriggled my way through throngs and hordes and masses of people to get to him!

With Aubrey, joining the crowds and closed streets of DC after the swearing in.

I don’t know why I actually wore the badge they gave us.

That’s like the staffers who wore their IDs back when I worked on the Hill. They were very uncool. Exceedingly uncool. Excessively uncool. Egregiously … uncool.

That said, I do very much enjoy the Donning of Nametags. But I guess that’s another post.

At the DLC party held in Old Ebbit’s Grill on Inauguration Day. Lots of happy Dems eating (once again) crabcakes and special giant Obama brownies.

With Shira, after the swearing in.

  1. I am still not buying that Julia Allison went to the actual inauguration (that she bragged she had tickets to). Seems like there would be pictures of that.

Also, she looks like she could be that TV guy's mother. WHY does she dress so matronly?? And she basically admits she had to claw her way through the crowds to interrupt her friend while he was trying to do his job on a VERY important day. Nice.

"Furthermore," WHY would she post pictures of herself drunkenly cozying up to Chad Hurley? He's married! I am sure is wife would love to see the "14 pictures" she took with him. Does Julia realize how horrible that makes her look?!

  2. At the risk of revealing my ignorance: Who is Larry?!

  3. Larry Page, cofounder of Google. Billionaire extraordinaire.

  4. She 99.9% likelihood didn't go. If she had we'd have heard about it. If you haven't noticed she tends to never again mention those things she says she will do that don't come to fruition while endlessly talking about her perceived "successes."
