  1. WOW, my post has been deleted 3 times in the last 6 minutes...

My BFF is my BFF because she is totally awesome and inspiring. I'll be going to law school this fall, and my bff will be finishing her Masters in Nursing at University of Alabama, Birmingham . In any event, we are always there for each other, even though we live 2000 miles away, and have been since 7th grade. How are you even sorority sisters with someone you NEVER MET? and yet you lived in the SAME HOUSE? Meghan, I think you already know you are too good for this JA attention fest, Mary, same to you. Both of you ladies are talented and likable, drop the dead weight Julia. And yes, Julia, my parents loved me plenty growing up, so just stop it with that, you lovely, lovely lady. Your grandmother must be SO ashamed.

  2. And yet this is still up:

My best friend is my BF because she likes to go on and on about spirituality and forgiveness, and then calls people "cunt" at the drop of a hat. Har!

    WTF

  3. Okay, so my post has been deleted no less than six (6) times, but they leave up the post about Meghan's stutter...this just screams JA. The ONLY offensive posts removed are about her..

WHY DO YOU LET THE POST ABOUT MEGS STUTTER STAY UP? SHE IS LIKABLE SOMEWHAT, BUT SERIOUSLY? TOTES OFFENSIVE.

  4. Um, Julia? Your Interwebs might be trying to tell you something... like that it reached maximum capacity for uploading your unflattering pictures. Your "date" looks embarrassed to be with you... how can you not SEE that?!

    ReplyDelete
  5. What the hell is she uploading that needs to be 17MB? I'm afraid, very afraid.
We've already seen upteen pictures of Julia thursting out her chest in her pink dress, Julia thrusting out her chest in her black dress, Julia in this coat, Julia in that coat.
Come on, I know it was just the another boring run-of-the-mill inauguration, so there wasn't really much else going on right? And we are all very thankful to Julia for making such a dull day at least a little bit interesting by posting a few dozen pictures of herself.
But the 17MB scares me. Does she do a Tara Reid "accidental" shoulder strap drop? Now that might be worth it. Once. But not really. I've lost the ability to see any pretty on the surface because the ugly inside is so blinding.

    ReplyDelete
  6. No, it's worse, she's uploading almost 150MB! That's two tits at least.

  7. I thought this fake Charslie post on QOD this morning was funny. I'll post it here before it gets deleted:

    Charlsie - Intern:
We keep deleting your post Scary Mary because it is not flattering or complimentary to us, and it contains too many big words and correct grammar. We like our audience a little on the stupid side.

But keep posting away until about 11:00 or so because we will be sleeping until then. It's very tiring to stay up all night and write "reader emails" to yourself! It's also very tiring to be a fake intern.

I mean... aren't you the least bit suspicious that you've never seen a picture of me or heard Meghan or Mary mention me? Here's a secret gals: I am really JULIA!! Just another one of her "personalities" although I would never call anyone a cunt. That's just trashy!

    Toodles!!!!

  8. Well thank God she at least managed to get ONE Chad Hurley picture posted. I am sure Chad Hurley's wife appreciates public pictures of Julia Allison cuddling up to him in the back of a town car. Care to tell us WHY your purse got left in the back seat, darling? Something tells me the CEO of Youtube might not want those pictures made public.

My God, she is a disgusting human being.

She always gives me good advice to stay healthy and not partake in ridiculous jusice fasts and "detoxes" because she knows she could possibly get sued if she kept telling people about things in which she is not qualified. She's such an awesome best friend :-)

  11. Someone posted this on Gawker... but doesn't it seem like their whole site is self-destructing? They've never been much on content, but it seems like they're not even trying anymore. And the tide of hatred seems to be rising against them day by day. How much longer before they shut that shit down?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Am I the only one who thinks that Julia Allison finally jumped the shark?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Even the Internet has had enough of her titty shots and is now just refusing to co-operate.

    ReplyDelete
  14. No anon, you're not the only one. I think Julia Allison has jumped the shark, gone of the rails, overdosed on Restylane and is at the end of her pink ribbon rope. She's become such an ugly caricature that I almost feel sorry for her... almost. Where are her parents? Why don't they help her get the therapy/medication/love she so obviously needs? Julia obviously has some serious mental issues that need to be addressed.

The site/shows should be shut down, Mary Rambin and Meghan Asha should go their own ways and Julia should move back home and regroup/get therapy. But I doubt that will ever happen. These sad women will just keep inflicting their ugly lives upon the Internet for as long as curious onlookers will stare at them in passing, shake their heads and laugh.

    ReplyDelete
  15. It's particularly hilarious that their new TMI show is all about juices and cleanses... on the same exact day that The New York Times runs a story completely debunking those very things. These ladies really are experts.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Anon 11:39,

Finally? I mark the jump the shark moment much earlier, quite possibly at this point:

(hint: much more entertaining if you leave the sound off)

Also for those who find the deceptive hidden text in Nonsociety.com's source code pointed out by ScaryMary disturbing, apparently reporting it to Google via their authenticated form is much more effective than using the form that doesn't require signing in with Google/gmail. From Lolo:
My best friend is intelligent and doesn't spew nonsense like Mary is on her blog today. In fact, she points me to useful articles like the ones on NY Times and Gawker today:

    http://gawker.com/5136975/detoxes-and-cleanses-bullshit

She also realizes that by not being a medical expert and suggesting that people do these "cleanses" she is in very murky territory.

Go ahead, delete this. I've already screen captured it and posted to my blog and to several others. Go ahead, delete away.

  18. Mary's cleanse/juicing expert, Dr. Denice Moffat is a VETERINARIAN! I am completely puzzled with which direction to take this revelation.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Mary said:

"If you want to know more about cleansing and fasting (who, what, where, when, why, how do I do it on my own), I found the most useful explanations on Natural Health Tecqniques by Dr. Denise Moffat."

Here is the great doctors bio (apparently Mason turned her on to her nutritionist):

    ReplyDelete
  20. I mean, Dr. Denice Moffat DOES have an animated GIF of squirrels giving each other a massage so she can't be all bad, right? I only trust the medical advice of doctors who have animated GIFs on their homepage.

  21. Why dont you pick on someone else? Everyone has different tastes and opinions. If it works for Mary, then it works for Mary and she is telling people what works for her. What's so wrong with that yall?

  24. I would like to report their spam on the google form that was linked to, but I'm unsure as to what to put in the boxes. Can the person who unearthered their dishonest practice point us in the right direction of what to write in these spaces? Thanks!

  25. These girls are great at purging! Their comments page is too hilarious. I posted something about BluePrint Cleanse probably struggling with its business model, too, because that company must be fairly desperate for attention if its willing to use the likes of Julia Baugher and Mary Rambin as shills.
My comment was there, I refreshed the page and whammo! instant slimming exercise! The number of comments dropped from about 14 to 4. Still not a as skinny as a 00, but ano-impressive!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Karen dear, Mary is PROMOTING BluePrint Cleanse. She gets PAID TO DO SO by being supplied with free product. She is PROMOTING a product that is based on mumbo-jumbo fake claims of "cleaning your blood" (puleeeeze), scrubbing your intestines (then why the need for the also PROMOTED and PAID for purges, Mary?). Etc. etc.
You're a very nice friend (cough ... mother of Meaghan ... cough), but this is sheer commercialism and borderline anorexia. Have you seen the two skeletons who run that company? Omg.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Those whose comments are being deleted maybe try posting on the advice box threads. Might take them a bit longer to catch on to those? Of course not if they read this blog and its comments as many of us suspect.

Here are the hidden text links from their site for someone who asked about what specifically to report to Google (google form link in earlier comment above):

    http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=%22what+is+your+credit+status%22&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

  28. I left a thinly veiled jab at Julia in the QOD today re: best friends and it's still up there. See if you can guess which one it is. My God they are dense.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I understand that cleanses are silly to some people, but not to Mary and her friend Julia. They are constantly being photographed and need their "quick fixes" on getting thin. They are promoting the cleanses because they work -- see for yourself. They are two stunning young ladies who are brave enough to show how stunning they are all the time even in the late parts of night when the rest of us are sleeping.

Just be more kind. I understand questioning their practices, but they are honest girls. Have you tried asking them about these things in emails? They love to email people.

And may you love thy neighbor.

    Karen

    ReplyDelete
  30. Karen, cleanses aren't just "silly," they're dangerous. Not only can they cause rapid and severe depletion of essential nutrients that the body needs to survive, they promote a very unhealthy attitude towards food and body image.

They damage both the body and the mind.

As for constantly being photographed, since it's only them photographing themselves, it's not a big deal and they can cut down on that crap.

Yes, that's REALLY living differently. Blech.

    ReplyDelete
  31. "Karen," you sound an awfully lot like Meghan's mother, who rushed to her defense on the Qik blog. And cleanses are not a "quick fix" - they're liquid starvation diets (that's why they work so quickly) that deplete the body of nutrients, permanently damage your metabolism and can do serious damage to your organs.

These women are promoting unproven and dangerous practices in the name of getting thin. If they were really concerned about health, they would just advise viewers to eat more fruits and vegetables. The message that they are sending is disgusting.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Callie has the right idea with QOD if you follow my drift. How can that be deleted??? You know what I mean?

I know they'll read this, but there's really nothing they can do. Callie is an honest commenter answering their question ;)

    please follow my drift!

    ReplyDelete
  33. "They are constantly being photographed and need their "quick fixes" on getting thin."

This is exactly the mentality that promotes horrible body issues and solutions such as throwing up after meals or not eating. Now I'm starting to wonder if you're an internet troll.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Wow. I can't understand the problems with my commentary. But I see your points in that they may be promoting something that isn't too healthy for most people. They aren't like the rest of us so maybe that is something they need to remember and be smart about.

    Point well taken.
    Karen

    ReplyDelete
  35. BAD idea to do a TMI on cleansing. People were starting to like Mary, but this just reminds them of why they thought she was a nimwit in the first place.

Karen - yes women in the spotlight might need to be more conscious of how they look. But these are 3 women with no nutritional background shamelessly shilling a product that could do SERIOUS DAMAGE to others who follow their advice.
This is why we are crying foul. And the fact that there is no mention of eating vegetables and lean proteins, which is a no brainer.

    ReplyDelete
  36. http://gawker.com/5136975/detoxes-and-cleanses-bullshit

Mary is getting schooled on Gawker and she emailed them this super intelligent gem of a response, which of course they posted, which of course makes her look even worse. Oh honey... just quit while you are ahead. HOW can someone be so clueless???

"Detox can be different than cleansing. The NYT article is right about Health Food Stores selling nonsense in a bottle with diuretics. That is what the experts are talking about. You won’t find a single doctor who will say it’s harmful to your health to blend up lettuce. With these organic cleanses, companies like BluePrint and Organic Avenue are extracting the vitamins and minerals of produce to make juices and smoothies. Furthermore, instead of causing more movement, sometimes they can stop you up. Hence the colonic that also helps flush out the toxins and crap that adheres to the walls of your colon on a daily basis.

Furthermore, I lost maybe a pound on my most recent cleanse. Someone with a little more to lose might see weight loss as a benefit, but for me, it’s all about getting my healthy diet back on track.

And finally, at least link to the video and TMIweekly so people can hear our side of the story, not just the shit you’re spouting. You do trust them to make a decision for themselves, right?"

    ReplyDelete
  37. Ok ok ok! I get all yours point! But I just have to object to the idea that they photograph themselves. Are all yall serious? Who in their right mind would photograph themselves this much?! They have photographers, cameramen, assistants and people at parties, as you can all see!

You people are getting too out of control! They do not photograph themselves. What kind of a business idea would that be now? yall are going too far. These girls have a following and they have professionals working for them. Come on now.

    Karen

    ReplyDelete
  38. So Karen, how are you related to Mary Rambin?

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'm not related at all to her. She is of another class of people from the South. I just read an article about her in a local magazine, thats all. I got a little interested and am using my cousin's computer to check it all out. And then I find this party of anger here! You can imagine my surprise.

I just wish the internet can start with the kindness the world needs. Thats all people. I think those two girls Julia and Mary are alright by me. They seem as genuine as the poor man who left the government on Monday. I just am so tired of the wrong people being hated.

    Much kindness again

  41. "They aren't like the rest of us so maybe that is something they need to remember and be smart about."

Most of us thank the deity of our choice that we are nothing like the Trio of Banality.

They are NOT celebrities, and there is nobody of any importance (other than themselves and a few other equally deluded attentionwhores) photographing them.

"Who in their right mind would photograph themselves this much?! They have photographers, cameramen, assistants and people at parties, as you can all see!"

OK, now I'm beginning to wonder if "Karen" is being just a bit too subtle in her mockery of the Three Louserteers.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yeah and I'm about through with it! Waiting for someone to catch on!

Look, I think this is the new wave of exposing the NS peeps. You gotta be acting like you're sticking up for them and then ripping them down to loserdom in the process...which is, of course, where they belong.

Even if they read this, it's OK. I get a kick out of making them think, "Is this a truly nice person who likes me or not?" and then let them deal with their delete-fest policy and whatever else...their consciences as well, maybe?

Let them be the judge of who they want to represent them (those comments which stay) and who they want to erase.

It's so much fun to play!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Karen! You seem sweet! But... are you reading their website? There are *some* pictures done by professionals for promotional purposes, but the majority of their content consists of them holding out their iphone and snapping a photo or handing off their own digital cameras to passersby to capture a shot. The difference between professional and normal photos is quite obvious. Anyway, they blog, something the majority of folks their age have been doing for years, and they suddenly think it's a novel idea and built a business around it. They take photos of stuff they're doing like normal bloggers do and call it a "Life Cast." Anyway, I'm digressing. Their photos are taken by themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Karen, You sound suspiciously like the lovely Sheryl Spencer, Julia's biggest fan. FYI: there is NOTHING even remotely "professional" about Julia Allison, a deranged exhibitionist whose heart consists of dust and shards of glass, who is the biggest joke on the Internet, and whose own parents are more than a little embarrassed by their spawn's manic madness. For Christ's sake, "Karen," get your head out of your ass!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Okay! I figured that's what you were doing, Karen. Glad that you aren't a loon. :P

    ReplyDelete
  46. "Karen" is a sniper neg. Nice work though. It is rather amusing to post ass kissing/thinly veiled jabs and see which ones stay up. But no need to do it here... we can parse in the open.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Ha ha! No way...I'm totally happy that there are people who can agree with me on their deception and utter lack-of-innovation/creativity/distinctiveness.

The messages they send out also kill me. All the gender stereotypes are so fortified by them...I'm one who believes the idea of gender is a construction in itself..."how to be feminine" and "how to be masculine", as examples. And they just kill me with their weak -- "I'm tough as a man!" -- "feminism".

    Phew! Thanks...

    Karen...for now!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Anon 4:36 --

I understand...I just think they read this shit, that's all. That is truly the only reason. I like playin' around all over, where I think they'll insecurely go...

  49. Karen --

You are my kind of peoples.

I was beginning to think you were actually won over by the one with the hips, the one with the hair and the other one.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Mary trying to compose a coherent sentence in her email to Gawker is hysterical. "Furthermore" "hence" "furthermore" (again)....

    ReplyDelete
  51. Mary's defensive email to Gawker reads like a middle school book report. Why even waste time picking apart her awful hair and trashy logo-riffic clothes when she has the intelligence of a child. Mary Rambin's stupidity is truly stunning.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Thanks, Russian girl...we go way back, actually...! To around Christmas time..haha
Oh, how I miss Mary's yacht captain...

However, I do ask myself (hey Julia -- this is real talk now) why the hell have I spent 10 minutes a day (not each and every) having fun like this. The answer I so honestly come up with is connected to the messages NS conveys on a daily basis. I'm against the very underlining themes (i.e. women just need a good man, women need to look good on the outside, and the Oprah-esque "inside" crap). Unfortunate for them, they are more accessible (via commenting on their site) than, say, Britney Spears (or her handlers, of course), for example.

If I could have a conversation with Jennifer Aniston about her decision to be "sexy" -- that is, to be naked on the cover of a magazine, oh I would! However, the chance to speak my mind through reverse psychology (and nonsense!) on the NS site is satisfying like a cookie.

I have always thanked them for this...until it got deleted.

    Sweet dreams!
    M. ( a real initial...oh la la!)

    ReplyDelete
  53. Preston, thanks for underscoring Mary's goddamn stupidity. Furthermore, I have been a bit annoyed over some commenters, including Baugher, to post about liking this vapid skank off yachting with mommy--Go Team Mary , indeed. Hence, I appreciated your tough love. Furthermore, I'm now going to post some more pics of me at the Obama inauguration. Did you note that I used the word "Obama"?

    ReplyDelete
  54. Mary is also COMPLETELY obsessed with the coverage she gets on Gawker. She reposts it on her own blog and mentions Denton, Richard, et al all the damn time. Unfortunately her two brain cells are busy dueling with each other and can't work together to figure out that they're cruelly mocking her.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Check out the photos of the TMI taping today. The ones in which the ladies are resplendent in purple. Notice the difference between the photo Mary posted vs the one JA posted....interesting indeed...

    ReplyDelete
  56. Julia's TMI taping picture shows her dog sniffing Mary's crotch. Is that some sort of metaphor?

    ReplyDelete
  57. No, I mean, in JA's picture her arm is hiding her bulges; the photo Mary posted is so deeply unflattering to JA. The single most unflattering photo I have seen to date.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Julia Allison would just tell you she's just wearing an unflattering sweater. She's really skinny in person, just like she's really nice in person and totally misunderstood on the Internet, even though her Internet persona is of her own creation.

Mary is the QUEEN of passive aggressive jabs at Julia. She's constantly putting her down through pictures, posts or just being a flat out bitch to her on their show. But I sort of get the impression Mary Rambin is a kind of proud of that and is a bitch to most people she meets. It's a defense mechanism to hide her lack of intelligence.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Mary is simply obsessed with her bowels. She is like a 75 year old....always complaining about her digestion. Also, she is very boring. Her hobbies seem to center around basic bodily function/needs: food, elimination, exercise, even clothing---that's a basic human need...

Julia writes about shit, and Mary -literally-writes about shit!

    ReplyDelete
  60. to anonymous commenters at 5:24 and 5:29--how perceptive! i see it now. mary @ 3:37, julia at 5:24 performance art. subterfuge. both.

i'm so glad i don't hate my best friends.

    ReplyDelete
  61. " It’s really hard to argue with throwing a salad into your blender and drinking it, but if you just like to argue, have at it."

    OHMYGOD MARY WHAT THE FUCK

What you are promoting IS NOT WHAT YOU ARE DESCRIBING. Not to mention her passive-aggressive hatred towards readers of her website striking again. Ugh lame.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Mary has no other interests outside of herself and her basic bodily functions of eating, moving and eliminating. Hobbies or interests that require a higher level of brain function - art, cinema, reading, music - don't compute in her tiny brain, therefore she avoids them. Furthermore, that is what makes her so horribly boring and ordinary. Finally, all the tacky used designer clothes in the world can't mask her obese stupidity.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Mary is really a pea-brain. Did anyone hear her ridiculous comment on TMI today? Meghan, the Mensa-member of the group stated "if my great-grandma doesn't recognize it, I don't eat it." Of course, Mary said, "What about kale, would she recognize kale?" Mary!!! Meghan had to explain to the pea-brain that she was talking about processed, packaged foods....I can only hope Mary was making a joke....but I doubt it.

    ReplyDelete
  64. What happened to the 24hr dating thing Julia was supposed to participate in today for Time Out NY? Did no one want to go on a date with her?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Kasey -- "obese stupidity" is brilliant. But as culturally retarded as Mary is, I'm liking her more and more. She's going to be the one to take JA down.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Christ, the photos from TMI taping today are hilarious. JA choses a flattering pix of herself and a shot of her dog sniffing Mary`s crotch, and Mary choses a photo of Julia looking like a baby beached whale. These two are like dumb and dumber. They are so unintentionally funny! I will miss them when the ship finally sinks...oh well.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I think Julia is headed for a meltdown. Her parents seem sooooo nice...do they know what's going on with their daughter? I mean, they are clearly very intelligent people. They need to stage an intervention.

    ReplyDelete
  68. @ Anonymous 6:02 p.m.: Mary, with her teeny little brain, must think that kale is somehow a new vegetable. Here's a tip, Trainwreck Rambin: kale's been around and delicious since the middle ages. your great grandmother's great grandmother would recognize kale. idiot.

@ Anonymous 6:04 p.m.: I have been wondering about Julia's date-a-thon myself. Her most recent tweet states that she's getting ready to head off to another stupid conference that'll surely result in me knowing nothing about the conference but a hell of a lot about what Julia packed while she also threw together one of those shitty columns she calls "work."

@ Karen: your posts earlier cracked me up. I was dying that people kept baiting you ... too awesome. I wish you luck in the QOD forums!

  73. I have to admit that I sometimes have a difficult time telling the difference between real Charlsie and fake Charlsie. And I don't know if that's because the real one is such a tool, or the fake one has the subtlety nailed down perfectly.

Glad to see Bauger, the O.G. of anti-NS rebloggers, is back!

  75. With these organic cleanses, companies like BluePrint and Organic Avenue are extracting the vitamins and minerals of produce to make juices and smoothies. Furthermore, instead of causing more movement, sometimes they can stop you up.

Is she aware that the sentence structure here actually reads as though she's criticizing Blueprint Cleanse?

  76. And those pics nof JA and Mary in their purple garb taping TMI?

There's now way people and keep denying that Julia is packing on the pounds in light speed.

  77. Re: the weight comments

I am hoping to take down or harm the progress of NS because I do not like the message they are sending. One of those messages is that if you are not thin and working out all the time, you are unhealthy and unattractive. I am approaching 30 and if I am to be totally honest I have gained 10 pounds in the past 2 years. Vanity pounds, yes, but my face is softer as are my curves. I think if we pick at Julia for gaining a few, we have become what we hate. We become the problem right along with them. Julia is at that age where her metabolism is changing. Like me, she needs to start making adjustments to her lifestyle. NOT like Mary, advises, losing the weight by doing these drastic cleanses. That is not healthy and any weight you lose will be packed right back on as soon as the cleanse is over. If these girls were really being honest, really wanted to "live DIFFERENTLY", they would talk about the realities of how our bodies change as we age. Instead of shoving scams and easy fixes down our throats.

There is a PLETHORA of other things to tease about. Let's not stoop to their level on this one.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I agree with ScaryMary. The weight is a non-issue when compared with the insanity that is the 'business.' Thank you so much for making this site. It's helping to break me of my nonsensical habit.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Julia's internet was too slow to allow proper Lifecasting, and she made sure to complain about this problem on her blog, and that's all we can expect from this serious young entrepreneur. No one would ask her to attempt to solve or circumvent the problem, even though lots of places offer free wifi now, for example like 7000 coffee shops and (literally) McDonald's.

It's a good thing that she doesn't have very much responsibility, and that she's got those interns to offset what little she does. Because she really is unable, for whatever reason, to overcome obstacles of a difficulty I would contend happen to every adult person daily. Er, um. Ooops!

I think this is my biggest problem with Nonsociety: the whole "business" is so disingenuous. Julia works "so hard," but she makes excuses for not accounting for things that are apparently, her basic product.

Like if one of those coffee shops ran out of, um, coffee and then tried to make cute expletive remarks to play it off.

  80. just want to clarify my post--i was attempting to make fun of their vanity and weight concerns, not their weight itself. i, too, think there is a treasure chest of legitimate things they do that is worthy of criticism and snarkitude. their appearances and weight is not one.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Yeah, um, get over yourself. You're on a reblog regularly battering these three. You're hardly above being snarky like the rest of us. You carry on with your message, we'll carry on with ours. That's why you have your own cute little blog. Yet you spend most of your time HERE.

Leave the condescending shit to your own blog and stop trying to mother people. It's fucking obnoxious.

    ReplyDelete
  82. What's fucking obnoxious is how gutter you just got because I said that. I have no problem with snark: obviously. But there is fine line between snark and being just as bad as them.

You, apparently, do not know where that line is. God forbid anyone say anything that doesn't align with YOUR message, you will turn on them too? You must be one of those people then, who HAS no real message, just nothing better to do.

I have my own cute little blog about this: FOR A REASON. I do have a message. And I am all for snark. I am NOT all for being a part of the problem. Young women all over this country have body issues because people say the shit you are saying. You are, then, a part of the problem. How are you any better than they are saying shit like this?

    It's fucking obnoxious.

And no, I do not spend "most of my time" HERE. I regularly check this blog but spend most of my time writing on my own blogs (I have many) and I am actually earning money for most of them. What is your incentive? What is your "message"?

Leave the condescending shit to your own blog and stop trying to mother people. It's fucking obnoxious.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Oh come on, if we can't snark about Julia's weight where is the fun in that? She has always, always always RELENTLESSLY sought advantages and comps and hookups based solely on her looks (hello, free tickets and trips?), now that they are fading and hopefully those doors are closing, I don't see what the problem is with pointing out the facade is over.

Besides... if she is an "entertainer" who brings not much else to the table than her looks, then I feel we are justified in critiquing them. Would she EVER have gained the notoriety she did based solely on her writing? No. It was the school girl outfits, it was the "condom fairy" it was the damn wikipedia photo she argued and lobbied to get taken down.

Ugh, she disgusts me. I hope she gains 40lbs! :P

    ReplyDelete
  84. I didn't come here because I have a message. I came here because the Trio of Banality annoy me. Nothing kills a good blog buzz like a nerdy hall monitor, Scary.

    ReplyDelete
  85. It isn't her weight that offends me. Is it really her weight that offends you?

I just think when it comes to the NS girls, there are so many more valid things to point out. If Julia gained 40 lbs but was giving GOOD content, had an open and honest heart, and only peddled QUALITY products... would we care about her weight gain?

    No.

YOU are fucking fat and very unattractive. And aren't you on hiatus from blogging because you can't stand the criticism and negativity on your blog, moxiblog.typepad.net ? If it's really getting you down, why don't you try taking a break from spewing your own hatred and negativity onto others.

  93. Moving on.
Yes, that is a seriously unflattering picture of Julia that Mary posted. And how does it even advance their story or business model? I thought Mary was the stylist. Isn't she the one who pulls their outfits? (I can recall her claiming Barbie-like re: math that being a stylist is SO hard!) Are they now just wearing random stuff now(in the event that Julia doesn't put together matching costumes)? Maybe Mary doesn't have time in her busy crazy life to do that job any more. Full-time blogger. Whew. Exhausting.

  94. They should be working now. Though there are now no spaces between entires which is not very attractive. Hmph. Anyone got a way to fix that?

    Codes are not my niche...

    ReplyDelete
  95. What offends me Scary is that she constantly posts "aren't I hot" photos of herself, and every "skinny" shot she can find, no matter how far back she has to dig, and so as far as I am concerned, she makes her weight fluctuations fair game.

I don't comment on her weight. But I am not going to go after anyone who does.

She puts her physicality out there 24/7 expecting ooohs and aahhhs. I see nothing wrong with people jeering as well.

    ReplyDelete
  96. OMG.

Whoever posted that, thanks for the laugh!

  97. And like I said on my own blog......

I don't use my looks to further my career. If she's going to continuously use her looks to garner attention, then they're fair game.

I also don't use sexual abuse and various other probably made up heinous situations to keep people from bad mouthing me and use them as a shield.

I never said she was fat. I said she's gained a lot of weight quickly. Very quickly.

P.S. Kelly, your ex-husband says hello. We had a loooonnggg talk about you today on Facebook.

Unless of course, you're actually Julia. In which case....MOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  98. @ Jacy:

True. I find it kind of sad though when she posts older "skinny" pictures of herself. She is caught up in who she was rather than learning to love who she is. I wasn't really trying to go after anyone when I replied to the comment above, more just make a point and move on.

    ReplyDelete
  101. @ Holly Go Away:

You don't use your looks to further your career because you DONT HAVE ANY. Apples and oranges.

I don't know what you're referring to re: sexual abuse being used as a shield but I'd love to get some links from you so I can see that for myself.

I will say though that sexual abuse is a SERIOUS topic, and though someone should not use the abuses they have suffered as a "shield", though someone should not choose to REMAIN a victim moving forward where they have been one in their past: that is NOT something open for snark. Sorry. But that's just plain disgusting.

It seems you have a very low set of moral standards. Picking at people's weight, sexual abuse, and chatting with people's ex husbands...

From the picture YOU are painting of YOU: it seems you'd fit in PERFECTLY as an NS contributor.

    ReplyDelete
  102. What happened to your latest photo shoot Christan/Hollie/EffCarrie Bradshaw/Tracyflick, etc. etc? Aren't those 5 year old very heavily photo-shopped pictures a little old to still be using them on Nerve.com? Don't you rage about when other people do that? And now you're bragging about talking to someone's ex-husband on Facebook? Is there anything about you that isn't hypocritical and doesn't make you a complete stalker?

    Jesus, get a life.

    ReplyDelete
  103. So, you know all sorts of details about my life, Know how old certain photos are, follow me from various chat forums...and I'm stalking?

    ReplyDelete
  104. Anonymouse 9:05 - I'm not really seeing your point about the moxie vimeos. She looks to me like an average young woman struggling with issues that I believe we all do at some point in our lives and she approaches it in an honest and frank confessional. She seems authentic. I don't really care what Julia looks like or how much she weighs from one day to the next. But, to me, she seems false. I think she has a great body and a very pretty face (when she's not wearing ridiculous school girl slut outfits and plastered in tons of make-up). But she always seems to be "posing". Always. It's very rare that we get a glimpse of anything that seems real or authentic; yet when we do, she seems kinda pretty and average (on the outside anyway. Watch out for those talons, omg! She very often comes across as nasty mean and bitchy. What the heck was the point of calling out Charles Foreman today, for example? Cripes. That was just trashy indiscrete ex-bashing. Poor guy, whoever he is. No wonder she doesn't want any guy she dates to know who she is. Look what they have in store for them.)

    ReplyDelete
  105. Hollie doesn't use her looks to promote her "business" because as you said she doesn't have any, so instead she just uses her penchant for giving blow jobs in exchange for male attention and approval. And as a result, can't maintain any "relationship" unless it's with a married man who is cheating on his wife. A real winner, and definitely someone qualified to give relationship and dating advice.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I will say who I really am when I want to on MY terms, not because someone like YOU issues some sort of challenge.

I'll say this though. When that time does come, and since these things seem to matter SO much to YOU:

I am thinner than you, prettier than you, and do NOT use that to advance my career. I have intellect and drive for that.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I think anybody who whips out the "oh I was date raped" story whenever she's asked to explain why she blew off an exam or had to change her name is a coward. Plain and simple. If you're going to hide under that umbrella and use it for personal gain, every thing in fair game.

    ReplyDelete
  108. What is the date rape story people keep mentioning? When did that happen?

    ReplyDelete
  109. For the second time now Holly, links to back this accusation?

    ReplyDelete
  110. Seriously, lay off Hollie Go Lightly. I don't see photos of her flaunting her tits and doing the Blue Steel several times a week, begging people to pay attention to her and to e-mail her their thoughts on how how/pretty she is, which she can promptly post.

What is the relevance of going after someone else who takes issue with that as all of us here do?

I don't look like Heidi Klum either, and that's why I am not constantly whoring myself out on camera.

    Leave Hollie Go Lightly alone!

    ReplyDelete
  111. Scary: And neither does Hollie Go Lightly, so really, end this line of discussion, huh? This is uncivilized and beneath all of us.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Well, to be fair, I do flaunt photos of my tits. Just on my private blog.

SM - The date rape story was mentioned in a Media Bistro article back in August. Somebody linked in an earlier post. But Someone who posted here who went to school with Julia is the one that revealed that JA regularly used this story when she'd blow off exams because she actually went away to the Hamptons.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Time out. Let's stop with the high school antics, kiddos.

Let's all breathe deeply and move on. We'll all be happier that way.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I simply made a statement that in general, there are more things to use as fodder for snark besides Julia's weight.

Don't blame where it's going on ME. She took it there.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Whatever. I watched the Vimeos and she's neither fat nor unattractive, and she seems a hundred times more real and honest than the woman we have all gathered here to despise.

Kelly and/or Julia, nice try, but not that interesting, really.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Can we concentrate on the task at hand? You know, the one where we humiliate Julia Allison and not ourselves?

    ReplyDelete
  117. Holly I'm the one just sent you a friend request. Nice to put a face to the name. Do you have the link to the mb article?

Add: Not fat. Not even close to fat. Great legs.

    ReplyDelete
  118. 9:57 - I don't have it. I think if you google Julia Allison and Mediabistro it should come up. I can e-mail my friend who went to Georgetown with her and try to get it and post.

    ReplyDelete
  119. yeesh....bit of a viper pit in here, eh? I'm noticing that these three insecure careerists have in the past couple of weeks been taking comments to heart in true insecure fashion; by attempting to re-mold around others' judgements, if in the most superficial ways. Ex: Julia may have gone a teensy bit blimpy right around new years, but her Klassee black ball dress photos from yesterday show she swiftly disposed of the extra pounds. somewhere in her convoluted psyche, there is a little girl crying in a corner from all the neg. commentary. This almost makes me feel bad for her. (Almost). None of this is making me feel very good.

    ReplyDelete
  120. http://www.mediabistro.com/articles/cache/a10131.asp

"Julia Baugher moved to Los Angeles after college with her then-fiance. She tried developing a reality show based on the sex lives of college students that she would host. When both the relationship and the show idea fizzled, she moved to New York in late 2004. On a legal pad, she wrote out 'My Two Year Plan.' One of the main goals was 'become a cult figure.'

And that she did. First came a name change. Critics suggest it was to escape the google history of the plagiarism accusation, but Allison speed-talks her way through her reasons. "First of all, I had a stalker at Georgetown. It was bad and I had gotten date-raped in August right before I was going into my senior year. I just wish I had protected [Julia Baugher] from that from the start. 'Julia Allison' I can put her out there.""

    ReplyDelete
  121. Maybe I am missing this, but she mentioned she has been date raped as one of the reasons for her name change. True or false, I don't know/care but where is she somehow "using her date rape as a shield"?

    ReplyDelete
  122. SM, thanks for saying that, you put it well. A lot of people are making a logical error -- believing that because she exploits her looks, etc., her looks are fair game. In my book, that means making fun of how she exploits her looks is fair game, not the looks themselves.

I guess also it depends what you want this site to be. I'm more interested in pointing out the various ways in which these bitches are fucked up, not just tearing down whatever I can about them. If you're interested in the former, making fun of their looks makes it seem like you don't have legitimate things to say about them.

    ReplyDelete
  123. "but Allison speed-talks her way through her reasons. "

The author of the article is basically implying, by the use of the descriptor "speed talks," That he or she doesn't believe Julia either. My friend went to school with her. Nobody heard of this alleged date rape at all. Nor did she file any kind of claim. The only time they heard about it was when Julia would use her alleged date rape as a reason she had to take off days from school and miss an exam. It was found out later that she was in the Hamptons. Even if it was true, skipping class and blowing off an exam? Not okay, no matter what the excuse (within reason.) Pulling out a really horrific experience - real or not - to excuse bad behavior? Pretty fucking disturbing. And I say this as someone who was sexually abused. So it takes on a bit more of a personal pet peeve.

    ReplyDelete
  124. By "using it as a shield" I'm referring to pulling out this story when it's convenient. Like when you're trying to avoid punishment or criticism or giving a direct and honest answer. The bull-imia story was a total ploy to get people to sympathize for her because people were commenting on her very obvious rapid weight gain. A weight gain that came on right after her multiple fasts and cleanses and posts about her work out and lectures about fasting.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Scary Mary--This is from one who knows: Julia Baugher cried date rape to professors at Georgetown when she was late with assignments or simply went away to the Hamptons for a few weeks at a time. NO ONE BELIEVED THIS STORY, particularly as it was so casually tossed out, as though she were asking you whether you wanted coffee or juice.

    ReplyDelete
  126. This place has now officially jumped the shark. You people are all far worse off than any of the three you prey on!

I would be a bit cerfule about reveling yourselves as some of you have been actively going after NS sponsors and could be found liable for damages (defamation).

I have been chuckling at this for a few days; but, am now appauled and am out - late.

  129. NonEntity--thanks for the Media Bistro snippet. Interesting to learn that Julia Baugher Allison's stalker fantasies--who can forget her cri de coeur to ABC News over the "cyber stalker"?--began back at Georgetown. And Julia? Nice touch with the my-daddy-is-going-to-sue-you-for-defamation post, even down to using Mary's rotten spelling in an attempt to fool us. Looking forward to seeing Daddy in court--right after he drops off your latest Victoria's Secret purchases. Everybody in LXR remembers that!

    ReplyDelete
  130. Oh my God, Mary, please, use the spellcheck, especially when drunk.

One can't be too cerfule when reveling how apauled you are.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Aaaahh yes the whining to ABC that she had a stalker who READ HER BLOG! AND FOLLOWED HER TWITTER! AND WATCHED HER VIMEOS! In other words, who did all the things every other reader is instructed to do every time they click onto her blog.

And she went on and on about how it had caused her mother to stop speaking to her (would love to know what vile Julia-ism Baugher revealed that her mother knew was true) and that she was scared! So scared!

And then, not two days later, she posted photos of herself in a bathing suit in Vegas and telling her readers exactly where she was staying. Because that's what people do who are terrified that their stalker is going to track them down and hurt them!!!
