Julia and Mary: Frenemies Reunited

Also, has anyone noticed that Rambo really seems to be going all out to cover Fashion Week? You know, that unlike her pals at Davos and CES, she's actually working? Can it be that Mares, shockingly, might actually respond positively to criticism? And this took balls, we can't deny it, although Wintour's body language is priceless:

  4. Mary definitely responds positively to criticism. People used to slag all over her fried long hair and weird, matronly, shoulder enhancing outfits on TMI and she cut her hair into a cute bob and started dressing to flatter her body type almost immediately. These bozos are both stupid, but here is what sets Mary apart - she listens to feedback, actually works hard and isn't incredibly lazy, unlike Wonk Eye up there. I guess we now know why Julia always photographs in 3/4 profile. Dr. Bobby seriously messed up her face.

  5. On another note, Jankles has apparently sent out her save-the-dates for her bi-coastal bday. The tagline? Drumroll please......

    Celebrate with a conscience.

I don't think I have ever wanted to smack her stupid droopy face more than right now.

  6. Anyone want to place some guesses as to how many people actually show up to her charity cover charge birthday parties? Or guess what cheap costume she'll wear? Hopefully her Botox droop will have eased up by then! Don't want to look like a washed up, wonky old hag in your under age 30 birthday pics! (also taking guesses as to her actual age.)

  7. These much hyped birthdays are less than two weeks away and the location is still TBA? Um yeah... this is more hastily thrown together birthday dinner / pray people actually show up and less huge sparkly bi-coastal birthday bash. I think we can preemptively add this dud to the Nonsociety Nonstarter list.

  8. Her birthday party last year wasn't exactly crowded. All that horrid pinkness, and still nobody showed up.

Despite her insecurities and issues, Mary looks SO much better than Julia. If she'd just either go dark blonde or add some lowlights to her light blonde, she'd be stunning. She should also knock it off with the injectables before she gets the weird, waxy look that Julia is sporting - not to mention, the droopy eye.

Mary: Remember that it's better to look healthy and happy than ageless. Julia is heading toward Dr. Brandt's face, so step away from Dr. Bobby and his needles before it's too late.

  9. @Cranberry Spinach: I think the parties are celebrating Randi Zuckerberg's birthday, as well. JA will get photographs of Randi's friends/hangers on and pretend that they are her own guests. Not a bad strategy. I mean, except the part where it's so pathetic that I could just cry for her.

  10. Wow. She got Anna Wintour to crack a smile. That is impressive. I imagine the look on her face if she'd been confronted by the 1983 Miss American contestant known as Julia Allison would have been sheer horror.

  11. To be honest, it's pretty brave of her to approach Anna W. And Anna's body language is like that with everyone. Mary's not the brightest, but she's really trying and is obviously passionate about her subject. Credit where credit is due.

  12. These food-related nicknames are cracking me up.

  13. Could someone explain to me why Anna is dressed for January and the Nonsense-iety girls are dressed for June?

  14. You can still see the wonk eye in that picture on the top of this post. Wonk, wonk.

  15. Is Mary wearing that dress backwards? It looks just wrong.
