Heh.

Mary, Mary Quite Contrary.

  1. Mary Rambin knows her ship is sinking fast. She's intentionally baiting for page views by writing the most offensive things possible. Or she really is that stupid and offensive. Take your pick.

  2. I pick the latter.

  3. Poor Mary, she is attacking some of the biggest women in New Media (or at the very least, some women who have more connections than Houston Handbag Head) and now she is going to start seeing herself get shut out. When she went to the NYT Inaugural event it was really obvious that no one wanted to talk to her or be around her. Eventually poor David Karp (who I have met, and is a real doll) had to sit in with a photo with her since his company basically built her website.

Oh Mary, you can kiss this fashion blogging game good bye. You don't have enough charisma to become famous and now you become the laughing stock of bloggers.

  4. She made Salon too. So she's calling out them too. Seems bright!

  6. Mary Rambin? You fancy yourself a fashion blogger, right? Did you know there was a little thing going on right now called Paris Fashion Week, or are you too busy blogging about last year's SAG awards and trips to Tory Burch?

    She is so pedestrian.

  7. No, I think she fancies herself a 'style' blogger, which excuses her from fashion coverage.

    It's all about labels, Mary.

  8. Mary Rambin's oh-so-stylish thoughts regarding labels:

"I’m not sure if you know this, but I’m not a fan of logos which means I’m certainly not a Tory Burch fan. In my whole wardrobe I probably own 5 things with logos (one LV laptop case, my mom’s huge Gucci tote from the 70’s, a Chanel chain bag, Chanel sandals, Chanel scarf…I think that’s it. Not even my Ralph Lauren stuff has a Polo on it.)."

Thanks for reeling off all of your logo-riffic items, Style Blogger. We're so jealous of you and your expensive baubles.

It's so hypocritical how she slags on things covered in Tory Burch and Coach logos but can't make the connection that wearing things covered in Chanel logos is basically the same thing. Gauche. Gauche. Gauche.

  9. Mary is the most clueless "style blogger" ever. She's currently posting about her more famous sister (yawn!) and mentions that her "funky" style all comes from Goodwill or Forever 21. It's hilarious because Leven Rambin has about 100 times more style than Mary Rambin, for a fraction of the budget (and she probably makes 10 times what Mary makes). Poor Mary and her tacky old labels - from her mom's "designer Goodwill" can't hold a flame to Leven's fresher, more imaginative and affordable style.

  10. HA HA. Mary is SO transparent. Last night she blogged about Leven's "funky" thrift and Forever 21 finds and today she blogs (in the present tense. YUCK) about going to a cheap "ghetto" store in LA to score some cheap, stylish finds. Unfortunately she fails miserably because Leven has about ten times the style Mary does and actually knows how to put together a "look," no matter what the budget or brand. THAT is the definition of someone with true style. Mary tries SO SO hard but just doesn't get it.
