RB: Handmaiden of Passive Aggression

The Handmaiden of Passive Aggression posted, around 12:15 today, a note about how she was running errands around town in the cold all morning. It has since been deleted. Wonder why?

(Maybe she realized it wasn't "chic" to be doing anything but Inauguration watching--especiallly during Obama's speech.)

  1. Probably because when she was out running errands she suddenly realized that there was a little thing called a "presidential inauguration" going on and she was out shopping and getting Restylane or the like. Idiot.

  2. Oooh, more Scary Mary Rambin posts, please!! This dumb bunny is ripe for ridicule. First order of business: she apparently does not know how to post photos to Facebook and has to get her intern to do it.

  3. Considering that Journalist Julia wrote that inauguration speech while in her "sliding doors" alter ego, I suppose that shopping was just another act of passive aggression against the Pink Lady.

  4. Mary just posted her super deep and insightful Obama post - she commented on Michelle's outfit and called her his "little lady." My God she is offensive.

  5. Meghan Asha's latest gem:

"CNN Live and Facebook is the perfect integration for Inauguration coverage. This may be the next wave of how we consume media by merging community comments alongside particular events. Love it!"

Community commentary AND current events??? She's SO groundbreaking! SO visionary! So Web 4.0! Does our dear sweet USC honor grad not realize that currents events commentary is already happening... HAS been happening since the birth of the Internet? Has she never read something that's being "liveblogged?"

The complete idiocy of these girls continues to amaze me.

Agreed. She's a complete idiot. I don't care how sweet she is, Meghan is a complete dummy. The inane posts she puts out are aggravating because she wants to be taken as an expert, but comes off as a complete ass.

Meghan and Meghan's mom, please read this. YOU WASTED YOUR USC EDUCATION AND NOW YOU HAVE TO LIVE OFF OF DADDY FOREVER.

  7. meghan's latest post promises a recount (?) of all the ways technology influenced the election. good luck with that. (it also mentions specifically "liveblogging" another comment-influenced post??)

  8. Meghan Asha:

"More than ever, this year’s election has been influenced by technology."

Well yeah, genius. That's how technology works. Progress and all that. Keep those Deep Thoughts coming, Jack Handey!

  9. I broke down and visited NS (oh god, it's so difficult to look away), and you HAVE TO reblog Mary's recent posts!

Two of the posts are full of barely concealed contempt for JA and her insane need to be at the center of everything and one of them actually refers to our first lady as Obama's "little lady." So amusing, but so offensive!!

They also contain slightly snarky assertions that she is single (though no confirmation on whether she's a lesbian) and a size small (obviously).

And, is it me, or is she starting to seriously lose it? She talks about hearing that you have to "trudge through snow" to get to any of the events in D.C. ... right next to a photo of JA in D.C., where there is NO SNOW on the ground. What??

I'll tell you, I LOVE NonSociety. I kind of hope the train wreck never ends. It's too delicious.

  10. Mary thinks that TRUDGE is a word. She's used that word in like 3 posts in the last month. TRUDGE????

  11. Mary...A phonics lesson,

When there's an E at the end, A vowel says its name.

  12. I hate to defend Mary, but trudge is a word: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/trudge

  13. Thank you. I think Meghan has had a free pass of sorts because she seems like a nice enough person. however, she is not a geek and knows next to nothing about "tech" not to mention the meaning of TECHNOLOGY. Pointing at a Roomba vacuum with her mouth gaping open does not count.

Oh, and she is no snowboarder.

Frankly, the girl is an idiot.

  14. Mary says "tredge." Poor dear does not know her vocabulary OR her spelling. Blaming it on being a spoiled brat is a lousy cop out. It's more a testament to the fact that she is not well read or well educated AT ALL (despite going to expensive schools). Most intelligent and educated people learn new words - and the proper context to use them in - through reading. Clearly the girl does not read.

  15. From what I hear, traffic is jam-packed, and in order to get to any gala/party/your apartment, you have to get out in your gown and trek through snow for countless blocks.

someone is reading this thread... look who changed her entry........

  16. I misspelled the misspelling. I meant TRUGE OR TRUG...she's used both! It's TRUDGE. I know trudge is a word. ;-)

  17. "countless blocks"? Oh, Mary, please.

  18. "Considering that Journalist Julia wrote that inauguration speech while in her 'sliding doors' alter ego"

Sorry, but that line was funny as F!

LMFAS! Preston, remind me to never get on your bad side.

  20. It sort of astonishes me how many people despise these amateurs.

I used to like Meghan. Not anymore. Bitch is trashy.

  21. You dear bunnies will never get on my bad side! Only overprivileged clueless brats who have the audacity to underestimate and offend their intended audience get on my bad side. Only stuffy naifs who haven't the intelligence or wit to be "in" on the joke get on my bad side. Only horribly ordinary bores who have been duped into thinking they're "special" and "living differently" get on my bad side. I adore all of you.

  22. I'm most offended as a reader that they blame their readers for everything. Julia's long non-apology after CES, as one example.

She listed out everything she has on her to-do list, from interviews, to events, to picking out pretty pink dresses with matching headbands, all of which so clearly inhibit her from blogging at all. Because, you know, she's really important. And she doesn't have time to actually WORK.

My God woman. Letting your audience know how unimportant THEY are to you and how important YOU are is the antithesis of anything resembling professionalism.

    Pathetic. Truly pathetic.
