RB: Julia, Jan 15 - 8:17pm

That workout must have been pretty short, since she had time to do it, make it back to her apartment AND get dressed. But here's the proof:

Ready for my date with my favorite scarf (it’s sewn at the back so it acts as a hood!!)

  2. "Also at the party were the social climbers of the blogosphere, Julia Allison, Megan Asha, and pals. It was nice to chat with them but it also seemed a little sad that they would travel all this way from New York city to socialize with CES geeks and bloggers, hoping to climb a little higher in their media popularity.

I would say that Ms. Allison peaked when she made the cover of Wired magazine last year, for no other reason than being an example of someone that pursues Internet publicity. I'm happy to make my micro contribution to her cause, but these days it all seems a little too dated, a little too 2008...

She tells me she has ambitions beyond Wired, but I promised I wouldn't say which magazines she is targeting this year. It seems like a harmless hobby"

  3. First its a pic of Jules in her bra, next thing she shows up looking all Amish. And what is up with Julia and Mary the dueling daters :)

  4. Her T-ness (thanks for the phrase, Mary!) left Twitter posts criticizing her date. As if being on a date with her isn't punishment enough.

  5. Dating Columnist Julia Allison is going on a lot of blind dates and none of them know her last name - DEAD GIVEAWAY she's online dating or using a dating service. Poor dear is not even 30, "famous," lives in a city with millions of men and can't find ONE man to date her without using a service. Now THAT is quite an accomplishment.

  7. Why is the babushka with the swollen cheeks going on a date with a man she is going to trash talk? I do not understand this web site.

  8. yay!! it's Russion Girl!!

  9. She needs to fucking take it down 1000 notches with the damn black kohl-rimmed eyes. She looks like a raccoon.

  10. Why are you criticizing her for dating online?! Why is ANYONE still making fun of this whole concept of online-dating? Online dating is as normal, and common, cruising a bar for men. Except you might meet men when they're NOT wasted. There's a tragedy. I don't consider online dating a REAL blind date though. You know things about the person and you've seen their picture.

And who's to say that she doesn't have a lot of friends who are setting her up? I'm defending her, I'm just defending "blind dates" and "online dating."

  11. Oops, I meant "I'm NOT defending her.."

  12. it's not that it's online dating or blind dates.. it's, this :

"Poor dear is not even 30, "famous," lives in a city with millions of men and can't find ONE man to date her without using a service. Now THAT is quite an accomplishment."

so it's more like she's behaved in such a way that she has to resort to that, it isn't purely a choice she's making.

  13. I am not saying online dating is bad, I am only saying it's ironic that a self proclaimed microcelebrity/dating columnist does it. Julia Allison has been on the cover of Wired and fancies herself a semi famous person... but she can't seem to set up dates on her own or even tell men her last name because her online reputation is so horrible. That's all. Sorry to offend if I did.
