  1. Isn't that special? He took Julia Allison to a place with her favorite pink lightbulbs! He must have know she'd feel at home there, in just the kind of light she uses to endlessly, endlessly photograph herself.

  3. Wow, she's at a bar near NYU! Awesome! That's maybe the last place on earth anyone who isn't an NYC student actually wants to hang out.

She's a joykill in every sense of the word. There is no way anyone who is at all interested in dating her isn't a horrible person, or a huge dork. She's the absolute least cool person I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. I can just see her sitting there, looking at herself in the mirror behind the bar, making sure her soft waves are falling just so over her shoulders, laughing maniacally and pretending to be listening to whatever the hell her date is saying.

  4. Anon got it right. Julia is THE least cool person one could ever have the misfortune to encounter.

She's also hilariously so un-self aware that she has no idea that all these things she does and blogs about make her look like a major league dork who just moved to Manhattan, instead of the stylish Carrie Bradshaw she wishes she could be.

Julia is the type who started going to the Meatpacking District long after the locals abandoned it to the puking-in-the-street masses from Jersey and Long Island.

If something in the city was hip 4 years and then long ago dropped as passe, Jules & Co. will pick it right up and act as if they're trendsetters.

  5. Did anyone see her about 6 months ago on Chelsea Handler's show? Chelsea and the other guest, one of the comedians from "Best Week Ever" hilariously made funny comment after funny comment, playing off each other and generally doing what genuinely talented comedians do, or at least people who possess any degree of wit. JA, on the other hand, kept trying to insert these ridiculously unfunny, obviously prepared-beforehand, witless comments. she was so out of her league. it was then that i realized that she has no idea what wit, irony or true comedy really is. she isn't smart enough, and she is socially inept.
