Julia: Ever Classy. She's a Really Nice Person!

Mary styled the girls in Vivienne Westwood for today's filming of another TMI shit-show, and apparently Jules felt it was appropriate to take to her blog to publicly assail one of her "sisters" because, you know, Mary got the pretty dress that shows off the hooters. Call it a blogging foot-stomping from the sweet and innocent little Julia Allison, who never trash-talks ANYONE EVER. And she is really nice, everyone!! She's not faking it! Except that time when she called Mary a bitch on her blog, and today, when she publicly humiliated her yet again.

Classy.

From Mary's reblogging blog post of Julia's blog post or whatever the fuck these dumb girls always do:
______________

Apparently, someone wasn’t a fan….

juliaallison:

Mary picked out these outfits today, from Vivienne Westwood.

She said it would be something “different.” (If by “different” you mean “hideous.”)

Meghan’s dress looked better in person, very Leigh Lezark with her new hair. And I would have worn Mary’s dress, for sure.

My apologies Jules, I didn’t think you would be into the funky fashion of VW so I went a little more conservative for you. I’ll agree it probably wasn’t the best choice, but I thought the pinning would go over better. Perhaps it was the glasses?

Your second top was fun though! (Where is that picture?)

Megs dress is awesome! It was the first thing I chose at the showroom.

______________

Sheesh, Mary. How many times will you allow this %)@#@!?*& to publicly shame you? Get rid of her. Oh, and another bit of advice: ix-nay on the plastering back of the air-nay. Low side part!

  1. The bizarre part is that Julia Allison actually looks okay in that dark blue, drapey Westwood, glasses and all. And by okay I mean, not someone I would like to leap out of my chair and throttle.

What happened to all that sisterhood is powerful, we should not tear other women down foofaraw she was spouting on that TMI video just the other day? The ideas, the manias, the brainstormlets flicker and die like so many fireflies in August.

  2. The outfits aren't so much ugly as they are ill-fitting. Isn't a simple rule of styling something along the lines of "pick the correct size?" Can Mary not even do this???

    ReplyDelete
  3. When you're getting free stuff, you take the sizes they give you and work with them.

It is this kind of subtle put-down by Mary that prevents me from despising her. Why SHOULDN'T she wear the pretty dress? It's probably a Size 2 and she worked with what they were given and what would fit each girl. But why does JA always feel the need to air her annoyance with Mary publicly? That is not friendship, Jackles. Nor does it bolster your bullshit "I'm not a mean girl!" lies.

    Mary: Well-played.

  4. So NS breakup by end of Feb?

    ReplyDelete
  5. GAWD. In the words of Mary Rambin, will they shut their traps about Leah Lezark already?! Meghan, your hair does not look like the hair of some girl who was microfamous two years ago. It looks like you went to the Super Cuts at lunch and the main hairdresser was on a smoke break so the cashier had to fill in. Mary, your hair makes you look like that Super Cuts cashier. And all three of you look like you stapled on some plaid tablecloths from the BBQ joint next door to the Super Cuts.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I'm sorry, but I think there is nothing "mean" about any of their comments. I think they have a "bitchy" and open relationship...meaning, they share opinions with each other and are honest.

All I'm saying is that you can apply a "humorous" tone to JA's post and a cute "ok ok fine; sorrrrrry" tone to Mary's repost.

    Anyone agree?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Mean Girl: AWESOME.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Julia Allison's latest jabs are part of a larger pattern. She is always a flat out bitch to Mary... she NEVER gives her a compliment or is nice/jokey to her on her blog. They clearly hate each other - watch 30 seconds of any TMI episode and you can see that. I give Nonsociety and/or TMI Weekly until the end of February or March before it folds.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Realz: No, I think it was bitchy. You do it in person if you're just kidding around. You don't blog it. She blogged it for one reason: she needed someone to blame when the episode airs and people snark on her dress. It is MARY'S FAULT!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. someone can't stand being a bridesmaid. jules gets sooooo upset when mary looks better. it's funny.

    TEAM MARY.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I like Mary's dress, but Julia's dress makes her look about 20 lbs heavier. That's probably why mary picked that one out for her to wear.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Look at these clowns: http://data.tumblr.com/qfdCLT0Y9988sx3aKPftM98u_400.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  13. A real sign was when Mary got her first haircut, looked amazing, and JA never blogged a word about it during a period when she was blogging 24/7 about every move those three idiots made.

Notice how Mary goes on and on about how great Meghan looks? Meghan did the same about both of Mary's haircuts. I have also seen Mary blog in a complimentary way about JA's outfits (although certainly she's taken a couple of swipes too, but how could you not -- the girl dresses like a slutty 15-year-old half the time). But JA? Rarely, if ever, a nice word about Mary. I remember her saying something nice about her legs and about a candid shot of her after one of their pretend photo shoots.

I am certain she's consumed with jealousy about Mary's thinness, apparently not noticing that the woman works out like a lunatic all week long to achieve it.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Wouldn't it be too funny if Mary came out the victor when NS folds and got her own gig/blog?

I have to say Mary looks good in the pink tablecloth dress, she looks more feminine and pretty than usual.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Anonymous 6:51 -- Mary doesn't need to pick a dress that makes Julia "look 20 lbs heavier." Julia IS 20 lbs heavier. Just reference the pic above.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yes, the legs don't lie.

    ReplyDelete
  17. ^aint that the truth

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yeah, I see your point, Jacy. Sometimes it'shard for me to believe JA is so bitchy.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Holy shit! I just watched that awful lip dub. There are no words.

Oh, and the legs totally don't lie. It's not that Jackles is 'fat' -- it's her envy towards Rambles that is the problem.

    Anyway. Team Mary.

Ps. How do i get a user name with no URL?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Just go to Blogger.com and create an account.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Or pick a random url from the internet (or one that amuses you). It's fun!

    ReplyDelete
  22. I actually think Julia looks cute with glasses and that dress. It makes her approachable and non-slutty.

I wonder what Mary meant when she said she thought the pinning would go better... maybe like, Mary picked out too big a size for Julia and she's offended she had to be put in a size 8 dress and pinned up?

    ReplyDelete
  23. You know what would be funny - if they all wore the same dress, like triplets! Hehe, I amuse myself.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hi Rachael!

Remember that one time Mary had pinned her up with a binder clip? I am guessing she takes her in at the waist sometimes, because her waist is disproportionately smaller than the rest of her body. So maybe she's working a Size 6, but pulls her wait into a Size 2.

    ReplyDelete
  25. LOVE how Mary stole the pink full skirted Julia dress for herself. She is one clever bitch, while Julia is just a dumb bitch. I wonder if they will wear these tablecloths to Fashion Week next week or if they'll borrow some free dresses from Ilus. Of course, Ilus only carries small sizes so Julia might be on her own. Hope her fellow fashion show patrons won't frown too harshly on H&M plaid mini skirts, Juicy hoodies and freshwater pearls!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Pinning garments to achieve a better fit is standard practice at fashion shoots--and, I warrant, absolutely necessary when the participants do not try on the garments first.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I'm really loath to these physical appearance/weight threads, but ill-fitting Westwood is another thing outright. Seriously, are these donations from Mary's mom. What an absolute clown show.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Anon 7:58... that's the thing. You just can't avoid commenting on their appearance because it's always so totally absurd. They don't just look like normal gals, they look like clowns.

    ReplyDelete
  29. so this would explain kodak "sponsorship"?
    http://www.vimeo.com/3149040

    ReplyDelete
  30. I agree it is hard not to comment on their appearance. Mostly because for them (at least Jackles and Rambles) it is a massive obsession. So they project this obsession and insecurity and it is hard not to pick up on and comment about it.

And in the case of Jackles she is deeply, deeply dishonest about her envy towards the others.

Jackles is the Tracey Flick of famewhores. Gross.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Anon @ 8:12, if so, then Kodak didn't exactly get their money's worth, did they?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Kudos to Mary for upstaging the little cunt by taking the flirty PINK dress! Extra points for sticking her in the dowdiest of the bunch.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I don't think Mary stole the "julia" dress for herself. Someone else commented that you get whatever size the store/designer gives you, so I think Mary just happened to be skinny enough to fit that pink dress perfectly. See this pic Julia posted of Mary's back - she has no clips/pins which means it fit fine.

  34. ...so JA was probably just pissy that she got put in the frumpy looking dress :P

She's probably just pissy because her auction is over and she only got to 50% of her $1,000 goal.

  36. I love that that video shows them all blogging away all fervently about CES, when in reality, they didn't blog a damn thing at CES, presumably because they were making this video.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yeah, but who is the asshole paying $500? What is wrong with that person? Unless it's an ambush, in which case, I can't wait to see the results.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Rambles is obviously tired of this shizz.

    http://mary.nonsociety.com/post/77282409/via-juliaallison-during-todays-shoot-i-was

It seems really clear that her and Meghanaise need to make a run for it. But i think they know this but are in denial.

Oh well. It is fun to watch the wheels come off!

  39. It makes me laugh like the hyenas in the Moscow Zoo that Mary Rambo has given a circus tent to the poofy one and made it to cover her amble bottom. Ha ha ha. That good one. I am liking the one with the hay for hair now.

  40. I loved this site when it was intelligent snark, not so impressed with the descent into crude bitchiness.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Anon: I do tend to have a foul online mouth. Should I tone down the profanity? My apologies.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Not anon 10.32 but to chip in - I didn't like the use of the c-word earlier and I think calling people you don't know bitches is a bit strong.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Jacy

Yes you do have a foul motuh but the word use dead on right context as opposed to NS Girls..

    ReplyDelete
  44. RUSSIAN GIRL-- Will you marry me?
Here's the funny thing: Julia MADE Rambin famous and now she's TOTALLY regretting it because Rambin's stolen her thunder.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Ahem this site got 200+ comments today..

    Congrats readers of RBNS

    ReplyDelete
  46. Jacy, I can't say as I even noticed. Har. Not sure what that says about me; not sure that I care. Keep the faith,

    ReplyDelete
  47. SnarkyAnon: I don't recall using the c-word or the word bitches. Did I?

I think I called them dumb.

In any event, I will tone it down and I apologize if my sailor's mouth has turned anyone off. It must be all the pent-up frustration of watching all this for months and finally getting to write about it!

    Thank you, Benevolent RBNS God!

    P.S. But don't assume I don't know them!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Also? I have to laugh, because people have actually paid $1000 (two years running)--Julia Allison's goal, instead of the $500 she fetched--to have dinner with me. True fact. And I'm just a Hatin' Jealous Hater (TM) with no life of my own, hangin' around this hatey site. Ahem.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I did use the word "douchehole," which was, admittedly, quite vulgar. I will strike it out and replace with something nicer.

But I didn't use the c-word or the word "bitches."

    ReplyDelete
  50. Is it me or do all the dresses, except for Mary's, look ill fitting?

    ReplyDelete
  51. hey girls,

I want to preface this by saying it's not meant to be snarky. It is criticism, but you leave no room on your blogs for comments, and now that Charlsie is gone, this section is shot to poo. But I hope you read it, someone must be responsible for this section and your selective comment policy since you are getting 2-10 comment/day in this section.

I don't want to contribute to your pageviews, but what the heck, I'm already here so I'll say my piece.

Julia, you are/were a truly beautiful girl. Not in the high-fashion sense that Mary goes for, but at one point you were truly likable and your readers could relate to you. Your not ugly, your not fat, but you have changed a lot over recent months. You used to actually write, not just re-blog comments, but now we just see you at parties. I think what you have going on now is a total poo pie. Hear me through-- you were at the inaugeration, but we never heard a thing about it--just about Dan's lack of wifi. But we sure saw your lovely pink coat..WTF? Seriously, think about it, and please don't refer me to backdated posts. Your coverage was not even lame, it was nonexistent.

Meghan: You are supposed to be the "geeky" one--but why are there no posts during DLD or Davos (again, I was live-reading your blog, I don't go to backdated posts). You offered little to no actual coverage, and lack of wifi was the excuse. Seriously?! I saw your stripper nipple post!

Don't even get me started about CES.

Mary: I think you have actually come up the winner in this whole "business" venture. Although that 'I Love Candy' skit did no favors to your hair, you actually come off as the most real blogger of them all--you are willing to say what you do, when you do it, and you actually RESPOND to your readers.

I guess what I want is to hear what this website is about--TMI vids are great (har, blerg) but nothing new. Mary seems to be the most honest--Where are you from? How do you all support yourself--what is your rent, what do you spend weekly on clothes, RENT, transportation, etc).

I am proud to say that while I may envy your lives (for a brief moment), I find it fulfilling to say, "Hey, I'm 24, a recent college grad, and I make $37,000 a year...but I pay ALL of my bills." And my fam and friends love me!

I'm stuck in this endless rut of thinking I'm better, or more fabulous, or have $7000 budget/mo (per Meghan--and this is not including her apartment).

I have a job, I have a life, I have friends, and I am HAPPY WITH THAT. Sure-- I hope one day I get married, I hope one day I have the option of having these great things such as 20 hours/week to spend at the gym, $400/week on Blueprint, and endless cash to by shoes and Missoni gear. But actually, now that I think about it, being happy would be enough.

I'd still like to hear how you all seem to manage. Business plan, Mission statement, how you manage to live in NYC in this economy. Give your readers (and haters) at least this. You owe it to us.

Also, please give us more insight into your site's (cites) monthly traffic and where you get these figures.

    Whew,

    Lizbeth

  52. I use the phrase "little cunt" in reference to Julia, because that is what she called the very nice Owen Thomas over at Gawker. She emailed him in a snit and called him a little cunt all because he referred to her as an "ego blogger." She also made snotty references to his parents.

I can certainly understand objections to that word being used here, although I see it as just reflecting back to Julia what she puts out there.

As for objecting to "bitches," I'd hate to see this place become overly sensitive like Jezebel.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Jacy: sorry, that wasn't directed at you but at the whole thread. I am down with salty language and douchehole doesn't chap my hide in the least. The c-word which was used up-thread by another commenter just doesn't sit well though.
Like Anon 10.32 I am here for the intelligent snark, so bring it on!

    ReplyDelete
  54. I agree, Redacted. And I have no problem at all with people going nuts in the comments. I thought the two Anons were referring to my language, and I still think one of them was, but you have nothing to apologize for. If I had seen that comment, I would have known immediately you were referencing that lovely woman's slur to Owen Thomas.

    Carry on!!!!

  55. Sitting in Borders in the Time Warner building, finishing Gladwell's Ouliers. Maybe I should just buy it? Ha

Julia's Twitter. You know, that's just gross. Buy the god damn book. It's $25. Are you that broke? If it's that worthwhile, don't you want to have it on hand to refer to? Are you committing it to memory? How do you love a book and not want to own it?

    ReplyDelete
  56. Got it, Snarky. Thanks for clarifying. But indeed, Redacted was making reference to something JA said.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Christan: No shit. Isn't that slightly theft-like, to just go to Borders and sit and read the entire book over the course of a couple of days.

  58. I Love Russian Girl --

My father will consider wedding on my behalf to you if you have a penis like a baby's arm such is found on the sheep at the farm of my cousin Ivan.

And if you will mock the one with the poofy backside while we make the spoons.

    ReplyDelete
  59. It's low rent, is what it is. Gladwell's stuff is freakin' fantastic. I refer back to Blink at least once a month. I can't stand people who like to sound so god damn high brow when they're so obviously some low rent bottom feeder. Oh, and you know what? The guy didn't spend months/years writing that book so paupers can get their greasy fingers all over the pages and not buy it.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Does anybody have info on who "won" the dating advice from JAB at charitybuzz? The auction ended and now we can't see what the winning bid was...just the estimated value of $500 that was there all along. It was at a depressing $375 with an embarrassingly small number of bids (6), just 18 hours before the bidding closed. That's after nearly a MONTH of being open for bids.

Let's hope some kind soul took it upon himself to think of the poor children, and at least bid it up to the estimated value.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Am I crazy (don't answer that!) or did Jackles not imply that she was a wee bit interested in dating a doctor she met through the matchmaker? Why is she now trying to publicly shame him on Twitter?

    I guess it's because she's SO NICE.

Is the candy shop lipdub the same one referenced here:

"I hear that Julia Allison’s Nonsociety Lip Dub party was a totally flop. No one showed up to the meet and greet/publicity stunt! Take a look at the pictures on the nonsociety site…no one is in there or posing with the gals!"

Mary was at a party cozying up to Guest of a Guest blogger. Said what a fan she is.

    Search GOAG for Julia Allison.

She slags on her. All. The. Time.

That mary rambin might be up to something.

  64. Julia was the one at the party with GoaG. It was the College Humor party.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Wow- I rarely comment but she has sunk to an all-time low criticizing Marys wardrobe choices. The "second" outfits are fine...Julia looks better than normal because she doesn't look like a flipping cartoon character. Mary looks great. If anything looks average it's Megan's outfit, but she's so pretty it's just the outfit that's average.

I'm also starting to like Mary more and more siply because she seems more real than Julia, and she hasn't appeared to be lying....like Julia so often is....

    ReplyDelete
  66. ewww...

    My bad..

Though PROUD not to know all this bullshit (too dirty?) by heart.

    ReplyDelete
  67. when our commenters were asked to tone down their language most of them not only acknowledged the criticism, but even said they'd try to stop using the especially offensive language. it's great to read a site where there's such mutual respect.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Uh...sure. But if the comments are rude toward women, or in any way disagree on apparently anything *other* than cursing, that's another whole thing. Then you're either ScaryMary or Julia, or perhaps some crazy hybrid of the two. And the offensiveness continues to be used. Maybe it becomes someone's user name! There may be a lot of things on this blog, but "mutual respect" is not something I've seen a lot of. I'm not trying to start shit, except that you felt the need to brag about some serious bullshit.
