Julia: Letting it Unfold With What Appears to Be Wrist Blight

I'm sure there's a nice product in the Neosporin line that can clean that right up.

  1. Wow! This bitch just never stops. She is so confused.

First it is the Donna Reed sex kitten + bobby pins. Then we get the wangs w/ the glad kitchen garbage bags pants and now this.

Tattoo w/ wangs w/ aprons w/ Lee Press-on nails -- the mind reels.

  2. It does look like one of these wash off kiddie-tattos, doesn't it? Also, not having any first hand tattoing experience, but is the skin not to show some minor irritation after having been assaulted with needles and ink? Especially sensitive looking skin like hers (ironic, isn't it?) and she appears to be having good skin I grudgingly have to admit.

  3. Cannot. Get. Over. The. Nails.

If she's going to have the incredibly cheap and cheesy looking fake nail look, can she not at least afford to get those acrylic nail salon nails? Those $5 plastic nails from Target look like something my friends and I used to buy during spring break when we were 13. But I guess at least she's being consistent... they go perfectly with that cheap looking tattoo. What's next? Tweety Bird on her shoulder? A dolphin on her lower back?

You stay classy in your freshwater pearls, Julia.

  4. What is WITH the stripper nails? Grody! Who does that anymore unless you're in the sex trade industry?

  5. There seems to be some genuine exitement over the tattoo among some, as these creepy twits prove:

frankgruber: @juliaallison what did you get a tatoo of?
about 5 hours ago from web · Reply · View Tweet

(fauxtographer) wmmarc: @FrankGruber I'll make sure to take many pics of @JuliaAllison 's Tattoo wherever it may be and report back to the twitterverse what I find!
about 5 hours ago from web

frankgruber: @wmmarc excellent!about 5 hours ago from web in reply to wmmarc

So, fauxtographer will indeed be going to sxsw? MC Hammer didn't tweet back then, it seems? Will he remember to take a credit card this time? Will she even remember who he is, let alone pose with him again?
Am I the only one who finds this guy INCREDIBLY sleazy?

  6. And that 'design' is the worst! But what can one expect from a person who routinely makes the 'aesthetic choices' Julia Allison makes? Nothing. One may expect nothing good to come from this idiot.

Gag. She is such a true moron.

This is a terrible tattoo, and much to the chagrin of some of the above commenters (and eventually Julia herself) it does indeed appear to be permanent.

    What a freaking moron.

  26. I used to run a clinical facility for children 12-18. This is the typical "first" tattoo for teens with issues---always a name of a dead friend, or former boyfriend/girlfriend. It just looks so trashy. JA never ventures out into the world where real people live so it doesn't surprise me that she wouldn't know how tacky/juvenile her tattoo looks.

For the anon who asked: the pink/purplish hue will fade from around the tattoo.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I am CERTAIN that Meghan mentioned that JA wears "Lee Press on Nails" when she went shopping for cosmetics with a girl who has the "beauty expert" blog. I can't search for that video right now but it's on vimeo. In the Video, Meghan goes to Duane Reade with the blogger makeup girl and they look inexpensive makeup products. BTW, it's a good video and they should focus on doing things like that more often. Mary and Meghan are so much better ALONE doing interviews than they are together (save for Meghan total CES video fail).

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'm not certain but I think I started the joke yesterday about her getting the tattoo on her wrist as I was comparing her to Britney Spears. Can't believe she actually did it.

    *Wow -- just wow.*

    ReplyDelete
  29. Anon @ 11:29, maybe she'll complete the Britney imitation by shaving off all of her hair!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I have a friend working on the Britney Spears U.S. tour at the moment. Believe it or not, Brit-Brit actually has her life WAY more together than Julia Allison does.

    ReplyDelete

  35. I'm simply amazed that these girls attract sponorship dollars when their website doesn't even function properly.

Horizontal scrolling? Total Fail. I'll be the first to admit that I never really minded the concept of horizontal scrolling but now that it cuts off every single post it's most certainly a total fail.

Instead of putting your $$$ towards SXSW why not get your website (your business) working properly first.

    Am I missing something?

    ReplyDelete
  36. That's a sensitive skin area, yet her skin isn't red. I call bullshit and it's a temporary.

    ReplyDelete
  37. It's not temporary at all. Come on people! These silly and wild guesses are getting ridiculous. It looks like every other new tattoo I've seen. Sheesh.

    ReplyDelete
  38. When I got my tattoo, the tattoo artist smeared some ointment over it and told me it had to be covered in that stuff for the next few days to avoid infection. The skin was also way more red around the tattoo, especially in the hours after I got it.

I have to say that it does look like a temp.

    ReplyDelete
  39. When people start with stupid speculations like that tattoo isn't real, this site turns from a fun diversion to something embarassing. Please people, stop making stupid stuff up. The tattoo is real, TONY is not firing JA, etc. The conspiracy theorists make the whole site seem pointless.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'm not saying this site is pointless. It is harmless fun, usually, except when certain people start with inane theories that make us all look like nutjobs.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Still flailing away, Julia, I mean "Anon" @ 12:58? Or is that KK?

    ReplyDelete
  46. i just checked out their new TMI on how long to wait before having sex. I have to say, it was pretty good! I was entertained. Megs and Mares were pretty funny and natural. I even was amused by JAB a few times. M & M made fun of JAB throughout the episode, which works. I mean, you would have to, because of course Miss JAB's views on sex are completely ridiculous and totally hysterical (11 dates before sex, women should unionize and hold out together, so men can't pressure us to have sex before 5 dates...WTF???) also, she goes on and on about vibrators...sigh, so SATC 1999, i'm afraid. but still, overall the episode was entertaining and watchable. mary, in particular, was very good. anyway, definitely a change for me, i'm usually pretty negative on these three, but i had to be honest. i'd like to hear everyone else's thoughts on the episode, especially in regards to julia's crazy-ass sex rules.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I call temporary but that's not to say it's not a real tattoo. It's temporary in the way that JA would never look at something like tattoo as permanent, it's surely something she can get lasered off when she doesn't want it any more. i.e., when it's no longer so. cutting. edge. and. meaningful. i.e., when she realizes it's really poorly designed and in a place that you can't really hide it.

Honestly, if the words from her grandmother were that near and dear to her she would get them somewhere more hidden and not put it on the internet. ia with whoever said this is just a ploy for attention, and very adolescent.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Being the one who started asking about the tattoo(9.02), I would like to apologise if that created the impression I was in the conspiracy-theory mongering business.

I was simply surprised that tattooing (is that a word?) seems to leave the skin mildly irritated at most because, as I stated above, I do not have any first hand experience in getting one, but do know what getting a flu shot or having some blood taken does to my skin and it's not pretty. I therefore would have imagined the effects to be more visible.

The wash-off kiddie tattoo remark was aimed at the style of it rather than the question of it being real or not.

Thanks to those with greater expertise for filling me in.

    That's all. All good now?

  49. [redacted] NonEntity - Paradigm Shifter! --

I didn't say anything to defend the 3 Narcissisteers. I love this site, but it does not have a point, except for allowing the disgruntled masses to disparage Julia, Mary, Megs, and their minions.

This site is purely derivative; it could not exist if the gleesome threesome stopped creating content. Nothing new is created her, as evidenced by all the "I don't know anything, but I speculate that..." posts.

    ReplyDelete
  50. You have a rather odd way of showing that you "love" this site, Anon @ 1:24.

"This site IS pointless. It's a place where anonymous strangers talk shit about 3 girls most of us will never meet." So why are you here, if it's not to try to defend JABA the Nut?

    ReplyDelete
  51. No, see, don't do that. Don't read what they write and admit and make assumptions because then you're a conspiracy theorist. Seriously, how does one "love" this site but then go on to make a statement like "this site is purely derivative?"

    ReplyDelete
  52. Oh no, you must play nice, WTF.

Why is anon 1:16 bending over backwards to apologize for thinking the tatoo is fake. Cause you big nasty bullies got all over her.

Uhm, you're spending your time [I know, it only takes each of you seconds or mere minutes to post here] ripping on another website and now there's fucking rules?

Mary sucks, and no you idiots I am not scarry mary--although she really hit a chord with some of the people here, didn't she. Talk about sheesh, total jing, you're lamblasting each other because you don't like the particular way you are criticizing NS?

It's clearly no wonder this site is down to one contributor, and of course Total Jing and Christan.

  53. I got about 30 seconds into that last TMI Weekly video (which I have to say are the true gems of that site as they are just pure comedy gold) before I had to stop - and I don't know. I just couldn't do it. Right after Julia said that "she was incredibly good at waiting" - which came right after Meghan talked about this thing 'that she had last year' that she loved because of the 'great chemistry of not doing it'. With their new 'cable TV deal' how many of these things are they going to be contractually obligated to turn out? Oh God. I really need a new hobby man.

  58. Fine. I apologize to those of you who think it's a fake tattoo. I apologize for offending you.

I don't think it's a fake tattoo. She was obviously in a tattoo shop and if you enlarge the photo all the discoloration that's normally present after getting a tattoo is visible. The girl is completely crazy but why would she get a fake tattoo and pretend it's real? That's like a dumb April Fools joke. There's no personal gain. If there's no personal gain she's no interested.

I will no longer criticize anyone for making up a theory. So, go for it! Have fun! Live and let live!

  61. Listen, there are three parts to this site:

    1.) Snark
    2.) Pure Comedy
    3.) "Kremlinology"

The "Kremlinology" aspect is sort of a necessity and is actually, in and of itself, comedy since people are conjecturing about the lives of women that supposedly "put it all out there." Usually, the comments reflect the tone of the post, and the posts stem from editorial decisions made by Jacy et al. I do have some ideas on how to restructure RBNS, but I'll leave those ideas for the next thread...

    ReplyDelete
  62. It's clearly no wonder this site is down to one contributor, and of course Total Jing and Christan.

Right. We're the only two people commenting regularly. Weird that you hone in on us. Kinda makes it feel personal, which means you could really only be one of 3 people - Julia, Kelly Kreth or Scary Mary. I guess it would be way too much to suggest you post under your real name. But I guess that wouldn't work because you want to be able to do your snarking incognito just in case you ever want to call bullshit on anything. Plus, you want the added benefit of running to your blog and pontificating about how people who write nasty things about you on the internet are big bad meanies who are jealous of all your scary talents. Whatever. I can be a know it all at times. I admit that and I apologize for the over smarty pantsish nature of my snark. I take my hobby of playing detective too seriously sometimes. It's true, I am a bit of a conspiracy theorist. But this is a blog that advocates that kind of commentary. If you know that, then why do you come back?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Opening - yeah, Julia, and we all see how well THAT relationship has played out...

49 seconds - Mary saying "ACTUAL penetration" and the images that created in my mind will haunt me for a long time.

59 seconds - hate the rules, but they may explain the recent dry spell they seem to be experiencing. Whoever spends precious brain capacity on checking whether they are abiding by the effing "rules" during a date, must be a horribly boring companion. Also, why make girls think they should CARE about this stuff? Any guy who actually judges women by such rules is probably not worth the effort in the first place. Why turn girls in self-conscious, ridiculous stereotypes that go out of their way not to be juged? Why not turn it around and tell the world to stop judging in the first place? These three are poison.

Couldn't make myself watch any further for fear of having a stroke.

    ReplyDelete
  64. They lost me with the "bases" talk. There was no talk of waiting until it feels right for you or how women should figure out what they want before taking things to a next level. It all felt like some childish game Julia plays to keep a guy interested.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Anony 2:15pm. Actually, now that you explain the "Kreminology" aspect (brilliant!), I see that I need to step off. Far be it from me, to take away from something that is fun, interesting, and creative.

I do apologize if it seemed like I was criticizing anyone's comments. I blame my crapola mood and misbehaving students.

  67. Does anyone else find it interesting that only Mary was invited to demo the Kodak booth on video? If you were only going to use one of the NS ladies, wouldn't you go with ostensible tech blogger?

Methinks Meghan isn't fooling anyone with the "geekette" moniker.

    ReplyDelete
  68. To all asking about my new tattoo on my left wrist: "WWJD" stands for "What Would Jill Do?"

Now, I will always remember to ask myself "WWJD?" so I can then do the exact opposite.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Personally, I don't feel the need to be a conspiracy theorist. Mary Rambin, Meghan Asha Parikh and Julia Allison Baugher put enough crazy, outlandish, infuriating, ignorant, childish and TRUE shit "out there" on a daily basis to keep me entertained... no need to make anything else up because they're already caricatures without even trying.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I know who Kelly Kreth is but what is her connection to this site? Is she pro-Jackles and if so why? And is she the one who had a blog about writing to serial killers or am I getting the wackos mixed up? Why the hell is she (possibly) trolling on here? Sorry for so many questions but I'm confused.

Kelly Kreth was a loathed Gawker commenter who frequented the Julia Allison threads trying to get people to pay attention to her.She was mercilessly abused for being an attention seeking ass clown. She eventually got executed by Ketch. She's getting her revenge here by trying to torment certain people.

  80. Johnny,

It is fine to criticize her because she apparently has no health insurance. Thus, the taxpayer will be picking up the tab if she contracts hepatitis C since I am sure that she will not just let that unfold.

    http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/tattoos-and-piercings/MC00020

Finally, tattooing your flesh is considered a sin in Judaism, so she is probably alienating a large portion of eligible bachelors which is dumb, dumb, dumb given her predicament.

  90. Is that picture on Julia's blog of the guy with his shoes off from the tattoo parlor? Gross.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Hey Christan, I think you're a pita and I'm not any of the three people you named! Weird!

Also 3:41, that's a myth about Judaism and tattoos. While there is a commandment against permanently altering the body, it is one of 613 commandments found in Leviticus. Almost no Jewish cemeteries forbid burial with a tattoo, and if a modern Jewish family objects to Julia, they'll only be using the tattoo as an excuse for other, much larger issues. A deeply observant family that attempts to follow all 613 commandments would have many other problems with her as well.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Christan becomes completely obsessed with women she reads about on the internet. She has done it over and over for years. She did it with some woman named Blair, had done it with this Kelly Kreth and clearly is completely obsessed with Julia, going around creating stories and making up lies about each.

This is the type of thing that hurts this whole site and all of us. It goes over the line from benign social commentary to dangerous wacko stuff. She just admitted up there she was contacted by an attorney for her behavior. That goes way over the line.

I for one, want no part of this, and will not be back to this site now that it is taking a scary turn.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I agree, 4:12, it is all fun and games until there is a real loon among us. And I thought SM was bad...

    ReplyDelete
  95. Anon 4:10 PM,

You obviously didn't read what the Rabbi had to say in the article. The only assertion that was made was that it was a sin according to Leviticus. Julia has a lot of problems, the tattoo is just a manifestation of deeper issues; however, if she wants to marry a successful and intelligent man, I do not see why she would go out of her way to potentially shrink her pool of bachelors. The simple fact is that, prior to the tattoo, she had the potential to be a match with X number of men fitting her "requirements" and now, after the tattoo, she has the potential to be a match with Y number of men fitting her "requirements", with Y being less than or equal to X.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I didn't read any article you're mentioning. I'm a Jew with a tattoo who has done extensive research on this. Any family that takes the tattoo prohibition that seriously is probably also kosher, keeps the Sabbath (eg no driving, no carrying money, etc.), so their problems with Julia will be far bigger.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Anon @ 4:25 is right, and I think most people realize who and what the trolls are all about. Some have a personal vendetta against a regular here, and at least one would love nothing more than to see this place stop mocking JABA the Nut and turn on itself.

All of them need serious psychiatric intervention, and that should be remembered when reading their loony tunes rants.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Do Not Feed the Trolls because at Midnight they grow into these really bad things..

You Know them as the NS Girls :)

    ReplyDelete
  99. @Anon 4:31PM

No, I basically agree with you; however, if someone comes from an orthodox family and falls in love with her, then she just made "getting to marriage" that much more difficult. Anyway, maybe it's a moot point since I doubt she has the attention span or IQ to undergo the conversion process.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Instead of the Orthodox community, JABA the Nut should consider targeting men from the Amish community. They don't use computers, so it's not likely at all that the men or their parents will know what an attention-whoring, braying asshole she is. At least not right off the bat.

  103. That new TMI is really sad IMO. They sound like they are in high school, or more acurately middle school. Nothing wrong with that of course. Unless you are women in your mid to late 20s. I wouldn't even know where to begin parsing all that I found wrong with that episode. I'd love to know what others think. Maybe a post about it RBNS?

    ReplyDelete
  104. Ineffable,
I did not make it through more than the first minute and a half, but my impression is that it is beyond sad. It is disturbing. I find this Stepford wife approach to life scary and I do not think people like this should be allowed to mentor anyone (what JA boasted about) because they can do serious harm. This video should be used in sociology courses to analyse hegemony at work - boy, have these ladies internalised patriarchic beliefs and values without even knowing it.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I didn't get the impression that Mary played by any kind of rules. She does what she wants, when she wants. While that isn't always the wise approach, I think it's better than having some set schedule for how far to go on a date.

Julia's base and sloppy thirds talk just adds to my opinion that she's emotionally about 16 years old.

    ReplyDelete
  106. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post these thoughts and comments on the latest TMI at the NNN page as well as their youtube page. Unlike the NS page, comments at NNN and youtube are not moderated and you can make your voice heard. And unlike their own website, I really do think NNN listens to feedback on TMI since they have/had a stake in it.

  108. I don't know. Don't you think the ridiculously low numbers of comments (13 on the nnn page so far) sends the best message possible: The people can't be bothered with this crap. Commenter controversy and increasing numbers might make them think, hey, people hate this shit, but they watch, so it works. I think it's best to leave it to wither away. And it will eventually. Even seventh Heaven finished after what felt a million years (no offence at fans of that series intended).

  109. I agree 6:31, I can't be bothered to post about it on their or NNN's site. It's like speaking to a wall. Been there done that and don't intend to do it again. And like you said commenting at all sends a message you care enough to want to interact with them and I don't.

I do appreciate hearing the views of commenters here though and I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one getting the impression I got. Fran you are right on I think, and Christan emotionally 16, or maybe a bit younger, I'm thinking about 12, sounds about right.

  110. Ineff - I am not at advocate of first/second date sex by any means, but there was something so juvenile about how Julia plotted out how far she'd go for each date. She was so proud of how long she can hold out, but she holds out not out of restraint but in order to get the guy to be more interested in her. It's a game. It's not genuine or sincere.

  111. am I the only one who is extremely confused that Christian isn't a gay man? lol

  112. I think the "base" talk was juvenile, I'm sorry. As for when to have sex or any other decision between you and a person you're interested in, I think it's completely personal and is fine whenever two people think it's fine whether that be a week into seeing each other or a year. Like you, Christan, I agree that game playing is silly. And besides being antiquated and offensive, so is the concept of sex being something women do *for* men or make decisions about with the sole purpose of trying to keep men around and interested and committed.

  113. Man, she gets inked and still can't get a decent Gawker mention?

    Tough times indeed.

  114. --Anon 3:21 I hear if you say her name three times while looking in a mirror she kills you in your dreams.---

I swear I just almost peed on myself.

First things first, that tattoo might as well be the dark mark, I guarantee you it will be turn out to be a dating dealbreaker for many men. It reminds me of the white trash couple I used to see in upstate NY on the grocery line buying the 20 pack of chicken fingers with food stamps and reaking of stale cigarettes and natty light. Religion aside, I my Jewish grandmother- would turn in her grave if I did something like that to memorialize her.

On another note..Christan did in fact get an insane letter from a strip mall lawyer in an envelope that looked like my nephew addressed it. Her "lawyer" accused her of inflicting emotional damage on KK. Anyone that supports a woman that spends her spare time trolling inmates and trying to validate her writing skills under the guise of a "social project" needs thier head checked.

You know, the more I see and hear about these 3 the more they remind me of the 3 witches in Macbeth. They don't know a thing about themselves, so why would they know anything about men.

    Ladies..get thee to therapy.

  115. One more thing. Kelly Kreth accusing anybody of being obsessed with her is a total pot meet kettle moment. I followed her blog long before Christan started talking about her. She digs around the internet for dirt on anybody that criticizes her and then harasses them. Ask her ex-fuck buddy and his girlfriend.

  117. Christan yu really think there are only 4 people that might ever disagree with any of you or take issue with you as you take issue with others? "it could only be this this this or this person". Anytime anyone disagrees with any of you you literally name names of the only people who ever at least did it with a consistent handle. But dont be so stupid to think there are only 4 people who disagree or think this website is chock full of bullies and fools. That's just ignorant. Real people agree and disagree at times. Bullying people who come here and dont agree is just as bad as NS deleting comments that are negative. You are both creating environments where only those who embrace the same things as you are welcome. Thnk about that for a second.
