Rambo: "There's Shit Everywhere"
Shit everywhere? Truer words were never spoken.
(And seriously, the dog is shitting all over the apartment? She is six years old.)
UPDATE: A commenter suggests that by "shit," Mary meant "clothes, lights, general messiness," not doggie excrement. The commenter is probably right. I was thrown by the fact that Lilly was in the shot when she said it.
I really think the term "that's how I/we roll" needs to be retired. The only person who should be allowed to continue saying this is Jack Black in the Anchorman DVD. All others should cease and desist.
Julia acted like a stern mother who always says "no" when Mary trained the camera on her. "What is this" through gritted teeth. Upon Mary cluing her in, she instantly transforms into bubbly Julia so her fangirls will still envy her for always. being. happy.
6:01: That just shows how she hates not being fully in control what's going on. For someone with her shamelessness and thick media skin she seems incredibly insecure.
Two items: 1. I am not going to lie, Mary comes off as likable in this video. 2. Meghan has a 10-seat dining room table. Nope. No money from mummy and dadser or dividends from a trust. Nope nope. Just a struggling girl who can only afford to order salads at restaurants.
yeah, sorry I'm not really buying that TJ...bc last night I saw one that you removed bc people didn't like what you said. Who cares about typos on the Internet anyway?
I guess that's one upside to being another anon in the crowd, no need to backtrack.
Yes, in fact, you are correct. I deleted a graphic braying depiction upon the outrage of my fellow commenters. I still think the outrage was ridonkulous and completely out of character for this group. In fact, I've been pissed off about the reactions to my braying depiction since last night. I think it was pretty douchey considering I play by the rules here and go out of my way to respect the creative voice of others. Whatevs. Carry along!
it really doesn't seem that mary is saying there is dogshit all over the place but rather just that there are clothes, lights, cameras, etc. all over the place. come on, now.
HONESTLY, 99% of the time it is typo related. The only instance I can now think of, when that wasn't the case, is with the braying last night. If I could go back, I would not delete it because, again, the outrage on the part of others was pathetic when you consider the pursuit we ALL involve ourselves in by commenting here.
Leave Total Jing alone! She has priceless sources and MUCH more importantly seems to be a cool and accomplished person, although she can get quite worked up about Julia & friends' antics. Then again, who doesn't?
Anon7:19: Really? I didn't interpret it that way but you might be right. Saying it right after she focused on the dog, I thought she was suggesting the dog had shit all over the place. I stand corrected!
There for some reason has been a whole lot of post-sensitivity training knee jerking about comments on this blog lately. It frankly pisses me off, I'm already getting ready to move on. I don't come to snark blogs to be bitched at about my language and manners.
PP: That's what is so ridiculous about it. Hey, everyone ... you're on a blog dedicated to tearing someone down! Guess what! Sometimes the comments get mean!
and you shouldn't, partypants! yeah, i'm coming across as the residents' fan club here, but i really don't see the point in dissing people who have always had a strong opinion and thus strong voice around here and usually good arguments to substantiate this. are comments out of line at times? sure. that happens to the best of us, but does it really matter? this is indeed a snark blog discussing one of the most irrelevant web 2.0 occurrences of all times and you want to nitpick on commenters here? safe that for the next state of the nation address.
TJ's comment wasn't that bad, it was just very visually disturbing. It came up in the context of David Lynch doing a treatment on JABA the nut, so you can imagine that it was strange and animalistic.
Thanks to fraggle, Jacy and Party. I'm not trying to encourage clicks or anything but you girls summed up my thoughts exactly. We've all left stupid, dumb, wild, ridiculous, vain, ego fueled, and/or gross [i.e. braying] comments. As I said, we need to remember the pathetic pursuit we are all involved in here before striking out at someone for their content. As an educator who is very prone to typos, I get embarrassed. And I end up going back and deleting out of embarrassment. Just what interesting and mysterious comments would I be deleting anyway?
I described the visual image that I get every time someone refers to Julia as "braying." It was a cat visual and honestly didn't strike me as gross or sexual but, rather, primal. Some didn't see it that way.
I've notice uptight fuckery over the last few weeks here too. And big surprise, it's all fucking anonys. Srsly. Just make a fucking handle and take ownership of it.

ReplyDeleteMeghan and Mary and, well, everyone else besides Julia acted like normal, well-adjusted adults.

ReplyDeleteWhat's with the J-bomb on Julia's blog?
ReplyDeletewhat's a j-bomb?

I think that was just one of her many failed attempts at being cool.
ReplyDeletewhy are Total Jing's comments always removed?
ReplyDeleteI remove them. And not for content but for typos. I received a new laptop in the mail with less cramped keys. I hope this will help end my bad habit.
ReplyDeleteNow, now, TJ, sometimes you remove content that graphically depicts acts of braying.

Nuff said. Let's move along.

ReplyDeleteThat's how I understand her comment, also. However, there have been countless reports of an accident-prone Lily. Maybe Jacy was just relating the two?
Leave Total Jing alone! She has priceless sources and MUCH more importantly seems to be a cool and accomplished person, although she can get quite worked up about Julia & friends' antics. Then again, who doesn't?

ReplyDeleteTotal Jing,

To sum up: On the internet, as on TMI, There Is Shit Everywhere.
ReplyDeleteI thank you.
Amen to that, partypants. I raise my glass to you.
ReplyDeletenow I'm just dying to know what TJ's uber offensive comment might have been
ReplyDeleteTJ's comment wasn't that bad, it was just very visually disturbing. It came up in the context of David Lynch doing a treatment on JABA the nut, so you can imagine that it was strange and animalistic.

ReplyDeleteI described the visual image that I get every time someone refers to Julia as "braying." It was a cat visual and honestly didn't strike me as gross or sexual but, rather, primal. Some didn't see it that way.
Also, I had a non-religious sedar last night and had drank 4 glasses of wine which is sadly a lot for me.
ReplyDeleteJacy, don't you mean you were "throne"?
ReplyDeleteSOME: Hysterical! I was throne on my way to the thrown.
ReplyDeleteI've notice uptight fuckery over the last few weeks here too. And big surprise, it's all fucking anonys. Srsly. Just make a fucking handle and take ownership of it.
ReplyDeletePs. I stand by TJ's write (haha) to invoke Lynch w.r.t all things Jackles.
ReplyDeleteJesus, if Jackles is not ripe for the Lynch treatment who the cunt is?
That's right. I just did.
Love you, bitches.
I always enjoy TJ's comments and am sad that I missed whatever one was super disturbing yesterday. The funniest comments here are the disturbing ones.
ReplyDeleteJackles is ripe and ready for a lynch treatment.
ReplyDelete"who the cunt is?"
ReplyDeleteI fucking love it.
"The funniest comments here are the disturbing ones."
ReplyDeleteNote really. Remember that creepy suicide fanfic?
*not really.
ReplyDeleteJackles has stopped following Rambo on Twitter. WOW.
