Julia: She is SOOOOOOO Nice!!!

Today Jackles posts a link to yet another TMI Weekly shitshow, topic I don't know even know, I can't watch them, pardon my run on sentence but no. No no no. Especially not when she's wearing the wangs.

But in any event, hey, that REALLY NICE woman decides to publicly point out that Rambo is an idiot.

Check out the part where Mary doesn’t realize that Chicago is on Lake Michigan, and then asks, about the Great Lakes, “aren’t there like three of them you’re not allowed to go in because they’re polluted?” Um. No. You can pretty much drink Lake Michigan.

I’m only mentioning this because it’s not merely that she had never been to Chicago (despite my repeated invitations) but that she didn’t even want to talk about it as an amazing vacation destination in the U.S. That pissed me off. Don’t ever diss a girl’s hometown, you know?

This is such a smart, shifting-paradigm-y business practice! Declare war publicly, once again, on your business partner! Don't take it up with her privately, or edit out what offended you, oh no no no no! That's so old school! Wait til the segment goes up, and then point out to the world what a dumb "cranky bitch" your business partner/sister/BFF is once again.

She's so nice, people! She is SO nice! She's NOT a mean girl! You can say a lot of things about her, people, but she's not mean!! No!! She's really, really nice!!!

Jackles, if you like Chicago so much, seriously, can't you go back? For good?

  1. Julia is such a cunt. This is grade-A cunty behavior.

    Ugh.

  2. Just keep kissing me RBNS! Even when I say outlandishly stupid things! I love it!

  3. Okay, I just watched the video. Julia makes it seem like Mary doesn't understand where Chicago is, but it's more like Mary is surprised that Chicago has "incredible beaches." Mary didn't strike me as geographically 'challenged.'

Anyway, it is strange being in Chicago on the beaches. I've done it and it is a juxtaposition. The beaches are fun, but dirty. As far the water, Lake Michigan has been polluted for years from various sources.

Mary is very poised and take Julia's actions and interruptions in stride. I'm sort of excited to see her new blog and adventures.

  4. Julia is such a nice person. Always was and always will be. I'm just glad she left her ex-fiance when she realized that marrying a recent Georgetown Law graduate didn't seem so cool anymore. He is so much better off without her. To think that the poor guy defended her wit a letter to The Hoya when she got in trouble with the Georgetown administration.
She did the right thing even then--took the ring and left him for a married NY guy with kids.

  5. Hey Mary's Asshole: The question is not that Mary's stupid; I think that's well-established, no? The question is how Jackles chose to deal with that fact. Publicly. Lying in wait until the segment aired so she could once again publicly assail her. It's a total dick move, and not something you do to a friend and business partner.

I wonder how much shit Mary has on this girl that she's kept off the Internet. From what I hear, there is a ton. Does she publish it on her blog? No. I hope she starts.

    CATFIGHT!

  6. Julia looks like she is wearing a puppy on her head. Bangs FAIL.

I hope Mary snarks back, or better yet just quits this fucking shitshow once and for all.

  7. Hey Mary's Ass, you're an idiot. The point isn't whether what Mary said is right or wrong, it's the bitchy, immature way in which Julia chose to state her opinion. She could have gotten the same point across in a much more tactful way and without pointing such a hostile finger at Mary.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Look, Chicago is awesome but I would probably make a similar face to Mary's if someone suggested I go there for the beaches. And while someone from Chicago might know whether or not Lake Michigan is swimmable, etc., the tales of how he Cuyahoga once CAUGHT ON FIRE (it feeds Lake Erie) might lead a normal person to react with surprise.

I'm in DC, and while the Potomac is pretty for boating on, I wouldn't really be super excited about jumping in and swimming around.

Whether Mary's comment is dumb or not, Julia's post was...well, it is what it is.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Thank you Mary's Ass!

Stoopid bitch can't spell, thinks she knows fashion, and now we know does not know anything about a state north of the mason-dixon line. If I were there and she went into cunt-mode while I was talking bout Chicago, I would of slapped the bleach right out of her hair, so she got off pretty easy.

Seriously, I get that you[s] do not like Julia and I am no fan either but the slack you cut the bitchy one amazes me.

Meghan starts to introduce her 'city' and because she said "california" boozy starts faking her orgasm and completely cuts her off and starts relating her boyfriend bread and breakfast story. There's a bitch for you!

  10. Ha, Jacy - jinx! (i'm anon 2:11)

  11. I emailed Julia about this, agape at the crazy. Her response? "It's none of your business."

Really, Julia? I thought your lifecast - YOUR LIFE - was your business. What the fuck ever.

    ReplyDelete
  12. (And yes, Cuyahoga is Cleveland, not Chicago, but it goes to the Great Lakes point)

    ReplyDelete
  13. This TMI was supposed to be about spring break in the US, right? Who is going to go to a Chicago beach in March for spring break? What an idiot Julia is

    ReplyDelete
  14. Mary, your HS called they want their diploma back said...
it should be "I should have slapped" not "I should OF" You're starting to sound like Mary

    ReplyDelete
  15. @JGH: Classic JA! Again she's just SOOO NICE! Except when someone justifiably responds to something she posts on her goddamn blog, then it's BITCHFACE MCGEE.

JA, I wish everything about you was none of my fucking business. But you make it so you stupid cunt.

I'm going to email her now too. I love the idea of her pouting about it.

    ReplyDelete
  16. So JA suggests Chicago as a spring break destination place and Mary is the idiot?

Chicago? As a spring break place? Do you know anyone who would suggest that? Chicago has its time and place, but spring break?

Just a guess here, but I'll bet Mary is actually from Houston proper - the insides, not the outsides. Conversely, I bet JA would need to ask the internet for things to see if she spent more than a night in Chicago itself.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Jackles solicited people -- readers here -- to e-mail her with their questions and said she would answer them. A couple did. She didn't answer any of their questions.

She's a fraud, a fake, a liar. I am embarrassed I almost fell for her "poor me" act.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Julia Allison Baugher is a cunt. I've been dangling over the precipice of pity since her "wahhh, i'm sad" video, but enough is enough.

This is the THIRD time she's publicly attacked Mary. We all know this says a lot about JAB's character, but does she realize what is says about her professionalism? Or even her self-preservation? Mary, presumably, knows a lot of JAB dirt...and she's leaving. Is your behavior really wise, Julia?

And when all else fails, Jules, just remember -- You're almost THIRTY years old. From someone nearly a decade younger than you, grow the fuck up.

    ReplyDelete
  19. It's a balmy 50 degrees in Chicago right now. If I could be anywhere in the states it would certainly be...on the lovely shores of, um, Lake Michigan.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Jacy: How about her standing offer to take her haters for drinks? How did that turn out? I'm sure she got at least a few responses. Yet SURPRISE! Nothing transpired.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Julia clearly hasn't been in Lake Michigan for a long time. I'm in Milwaukee, and we have warning days where patrons aren't allowed in the lake due to the high pollution levels. So yeah, Mary is actually right.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I'm sure if someone asked Julia about anything in Mary's home state of Texas besides the two blocks in Austin she drunkenly slutted it up on last week, she'd have no idea.

    What a bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Come on People. THREE Great Lakes !? And this woman graduated from an actual college. Sure - Julia's horrid but she could have pointed it out right there on the video and she didn't. They were going to go with the video. She had to say something at some point.

The Mary worship on this blog never fails to amaze.

    ReplyDelete
  24. What did she think she was going to achieve with this diatribe against Mary? Did she think that readers would be on her side?
Such bitchy behavior is the kind of behavior she wants the internet community to abstain from and yet she engages in the bitchiest behavior of us all. Mary is supposed to be her friend and PARTNER! How unprofessional but not at all surprising.
I bet she is going to blame it all on PMS

    ReplyDelete
  25. Remember kids, Foolia will defend her home town, because her parents OWN their home on this shit bag beach. She's from money y'all.

I've been to the "beach" on Lake Michigan, and echoing other people's sentiments, why would you go to a beach in Chicago?

    ReplyDelete
  26. I really hope Mary writes a tell-all about what it was like working with Julia. Not as revenge or to be bitchy but as a study of what it is like to work with a lunatic. It would make for a great story.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Way to keep it classy @Julia. What, the ENTIRE episode wasn't about Chicago? Is that why your so pissed. You talked about the beaches, the food, the architecture, what a great city it is. That pretty much covers it doesn't it?
What you are trying to do is detract from the fact that YOU are such stupid out-of-touch dumbass you are recommending swimming in Lake Michigan beaches in the spring, which unless you're wearing a thermal full-body wetsuit and are a fanatic, is pretty much the last place a person would want to be at that time of year.
    Total bitch!!! omg.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Anon2:29. You are missing the point entirely. We all know Mary's dumb. But really? Julia HAD to address it at some point? Why? And why publicly?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Julia, please, please, PLEASE replace your Blueprint with Lake Michigan water. I think many of our problems would go away.

  30. Jeez, all the Mary detractors are coming out of the woodworks. The point here is not Mary's intelligence. It's that her supposed best friend and business partner chooses a public forum to call her out. That is not acceptable or appropriate behavior in terms of business practices, or interpersonal relationships.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Anon 2:29. Not 3 Great Lakes. Three OF the Great Lakes. She asked weren't 3 OF the Great Lakes too polluted to swim in. (Lake Ontario usually is, Lake Erie mostly is, and Lake Michigan often is.)

    ReplyDelete
  32. ^
    ^
It depends on the time of year, what part of the shoreline you're on, if there's been a heavy rainfall, all kinds of things but quite quite often, beaches on all three of these Great Lakes are closed. And, Julia? Shut up. You're an idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Perfectly illustrates their flawed business plan. No one is going to watch this tripe for spring-break advice (also, arent' all three of these women 6 or more years removed from college? What would they know about spring breaks today? And if they're offering younger viewers -their intended audience, I guess - advice, they're deluded. When you were 20 or 22 how seriously would you take spring break advice from a 30-something?)

But people will watch for the drama between the girls. Trouble is, try selling a web-ad to Virging airlines or whatever for a segment on a show known to be only a unintended soap opera.

    ReplyDelete
  34. "Each of us has a chance every day to say yes to something that could make the world a better place & no to something that degrades it."
Julia, you should have seriously said NO before you posted your comments about your partner today.
You should let readers judge Mary's intelligence for themselves. I mean, you were the one who recruited her to become your business partner, right? What does it say about you that you decided to go with someone who had no experience with blogging (but has a much better blog than yours) and you don't even think is that smart and can't spell? Is it because she was blond and beautiful and had a Hollywood starlet as a sister?

    ReplyDelete
  35. it's fucking 48 degrees in Chicago right now. Perfect bikini weather. What an asshole.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Who's Mary's sister? Do tell.

    ReplyDelete
  37. They know there's page hits in drama. It's like wrestling.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I grew up in California and have traveled Asia and Europe vastly, but Californian's can be really dense about any state non-California. My roommate from Chicago gets pissed when people ask where he's from and when he tells them, most Californian's respond, "Oh, so the east coast." I didn't even know Chicago was near the lakes until I visited recently and asked my friend how they could deal with the freezing temps. He told me there were lakes and they were gorgeous and warm in the summer.

So my point here is - Texan's are probably like Californian's - really, really dense about the US geography :)

    ReplyDelete
  39. I work directly across from Oak Street Beach in Chicago and I don't EVER go in the water. I wish it wasn't so polluted but it is. The City routinely closes various beaches around here. The Chief of Staff of the US lost his finger to infection caused by swimming in the lake. The water is not safe to drink unless it is purified.

    ReplyDelete
  40. There might be page hits from drama from curious onlookers and trainwreck watchers, but how in the hell is this seriously unprofessional drama supposed to attract sponsors?? Imagine if you were a business and a potential sponsor of Nonsociety and watched that pathetic meltdown video last week. Or saw one business partner publicly bitchslapping another. It might be cute to pull those stunts for Gawker but it's a huge turn off potential sponsors. Julia Allison/ Julia Baugher / Julia / J/ Jill is a frakkin idiot and a low down slimy "friend" for calling out Mary very publicly like that.

If I were Mary, I'd go public with all the dirt she no doubt has on this grade A asshat.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Um, is JA just reposting pictures and other nonsense? I could swear that she's posted that sunglasses/camera photo before. If so: are you fucking kidding me? She's too lazy to find and like new photos??

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yes, write off all Texans as being dense because you know of one dense blogger who happens to be from here. Jesus. Only a moron would assume Chicago is on the East Coast.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Mary responds and even links to Julia's bitch slap:

    http://mary.nonsociety.com/post/89098677

"As Julia points out, it’s pretty apparent I have no interest in visiting Chicago. Here’s the thing, I always figured I would make it there one day for work and have the opportunity to explore all it has to offer. I have nothing against it, but to me, vacation means getting out of the big metropolitan landscape and enjoying nature in some way."

I think she handles it with class and grace... by simply not choosing to call her names back and spells out why she doesn't see it as a vacation spot. We may think Mary is dumb, but she is a hell of a lot classier than that low rent piece of trash Julia Baugher. Mary comes out smelling like a rose next to her.

    ReplyDelete
  44. EWWW. I guess someone helped Julia figure out a way to save and archive voicemails because now Julia's posting ones from her dad. Is nothing sacred to this cow? Nothing private? Is she just trying to prove that someone- anyone - loves her? Something about posting messages from your parents in a public space just seriously creeps me out.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I didn't know who JA was for years. Though I read gawker regularly, I just never cared to know. A few months ago I looked more into who she is. I am seriously so nauseous. She is a very sad person and makes really poor choices and as funny as this site is b/c it's witty and true (which she is not) I can only imagine where she'll end up. For real, either in a mental hospital or she'll commit suicide unless she relocates to a country where internet access is scarce or restricted, which isn't a bad idea. You should raise money here for the cause to relocate her and we should all contribute and give her this money if she promises to disappear. So many ppl would donate and maybe she'd bite. In all honesty, I'm scared to see what's going to happen to her. She is so far gone, she actually can't understand why she makes people sick. Additionally, the purportedly sane individuals that keep company w/ her are more deranged than she is or they are running some sort of sociological experiment. I mean Randi Zuckerberg... doesn't her family worry about why their seemingly balanced daughter canoodles w/ such an obvious user. Like they'd be friends if Randi wasn't related to the FB fortune? It's so odd and sad. Maybe that's why little brother skipped birthday celebrations?

  46. Mary, kill that low class idiot with kindness! Way to go!

How can Julia think what she did was "really really nice?" She is a nasty human being.

    ReplyDelete
  47. From JAB twitter:

"Had an unfortunate run-in with my bathroom scale today. Sigh. Looks like my "I never diet, ever" plan isn't going so well. MLERP! Gymtime."

Umm, Julia, you never diet, ever? Oh, I guess you just really love the taste of juiced kale, and all the other shit in Blueprint. YUM. Or maybe you meant to say, "Looks like my 'I never (successfully) diet, ever' plan isn't going so well?"

    Oh, sweetie :(

    ReplyDelete
  48. Hold it, wait. Did Julia Allison go on tv and talk about John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston this weekend? Like their romances and stuff?

Wasn't she just railing on about how dating lives and stuff were off-limits for interent women?

    ReplyDelete
  49. it is about professionalism and I think that mary has been stepping it up lately. i'm not like blown away but in comparison to julia she has been puting out more thought out diverse posts. i used to say that there was nothing you could learn from the site. but she has been trying with her workout advice, recipies, reviews, ext. while still trying to keep it personal.

julia posted a picture and said "i just like this photo"

    ReplyDelete
  50. Can we get a real psychologist on here as a guest commentor to analyze these daddy issues? The whole bringing her Victoria Secret laungerie just screams wacko to me.

And now the "look! daddy loves me! he does love me! he loves MEEEE I am HAPPPPPPY!!!!!!" posting of her father's voicemails? She is disturbed, and gross.

With these raging, blatant Daddy Issues, it's no shocker why she can't land a man.

  51. Julia just stole a quote from someone here (anon 2:52) and put it on her blog and twitter.

she is litterally so worthless at producing content and desperate that she has to come here for our insight.

    pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  52. oops, I just realized she had allready posted that on her twitter earlier.

it's funny that she posted it on her blog after the comenter wrote it though.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Even in this video, Julia is the least prepared, and she is talking about her hometown.

The other two have specific recommendations and pictures of destinations. Julia speaks in generalities and not a single specific recommendation other than Lake Michigan.

This is ultimately why Julia will not accomplish anything beyond notoriety - she has no work ethic. All other reasons for disliking her aside, if I were in any kind of business with her, I would look through the older TMIs, TONY columns and her blog requests for topics.

Mary and Meghan may be mind-numbingly banal and not particularly bright, but they both do their research. Julia just thinks she has to show up in hair, makeup and a v-neck.

    ReplyDelete
  54. She talks about beaches in Chicago like they are the South of France. Oak Street Beach is nice but the beaches of Chicago, alone, are not vacation destinations. Most certainly not in March.

Also Julia, public drinking water supply in Chicago and much of the surrounding suburbs is supplied by Lake Michigan. So you are actually drinking it, not "pretty much" drinking it.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Julia is a ho-bag. The. End.

And can someone please make up some
"RBNS crushed my soul" t-shirts coz I would buy 1.

    ReplyDelete
  56. that quote at 2:52 was taken from her twitter

mary's sister is leven rambin--she used to be on "all my children" and is now on terminator: the sarah connor chronicles

    ReplyDelete
  57. 3:42 -- anon 2:52 was quoting JA, let's not get silly!

But yeah -- I loved the tweet about "it's not about what we do, it's who we become" which means "I don't HAVE to be consistent! I don't have to be a respectable, hard-working businessperson! It's not about what I do, it's about WHO I AM!" But, Julia? No. Who are and you who will become (and: the fuck?) is determined by the things you do. Pick up Aristotle one day. Habitual actions build your character. Douche.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Amen, 3:18.

Although, also funny, Baugher blogger wrote that he/she'd love to chat with Mary about how "loyal" her former business partner was. Then, Mary blogged that she was supposed to meet up with Baugher blogger (but was stood up).

Was Mary in search of the dirt? Oh, I do hope the dirty laundry gets aired. Too entertaining (in a sad sort of way).

    ReplyDelete
  59. @3:47 Baugher is a woman and wasn't the person Mary met up with.

    ReplyDelete
  60. What a surprise that Mary has never taken Julia Allison up on her invites to Chicago. JA would be the ultimate passive-aggressive host.

JA: (coming in front door or their suburban house with Mary) Mom, Dad, this is Mary Rambin..

Parents : (Sigh) Hi Mary, nice ot meet you.

JA: This is Mary's first trip to Chicago. Can you beleive it? Mary, Mary, tell them what you were just telling me.... Do it again? How do you pronounced it: Lake Michicagn, Lake Superior, Lake Erie, Lake Superior Aaaaaand... do it!"

Mary: I don't really feel like it. I'm kinda tired form the flight and...

JA: (in deep monster voice ) Dooooo iiiiiit!!

    Mary: Lake Her-on?

JA: Haaaaa!! Mom did you hear that!! Her-on? Her-on. Oh my god that's great...

Mary: I don't really see whay it's thaaaat funny Julia.

Julia: Oh, no , no I wasn't making fun of you. It's just sounds funny to us. Like a geographic thing, I guess. Different, you know. Like that skirt you're wearing. No wrong. Just different.

I know people from Texas don't travel as much as we do. It's no big deal. Don't get so offended. I'm not calling you stupid. When I was at Georgetown I met a lot of people from that part of the country... You know, just different! You're very well-spoken for a Texas person...

    Mary: Um.... thanks? I guess....

    ReplyDelete
  61. I like fat Julia because her voluptuous boobies just swell and swell. Yum!

    ReplyDelete
  62. So from that tweet, we can tell. that Julia only goes to the gym when she's "feeling fat." Never because of the benefits that Mary discussed on her blog - mental clarity, helps you sleep, works off stress, etc. etc. Once again, Julia reveals more and more of her shallow, superficial and short-sighted personality in every word she writes and every thought she tweets. Julia said she only reveals a fraction of herself on the web, but that tiny fraction is more than enough to confirm everything I ever assumed about her.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Interesting too that she said the TMI before this one (on exercise) was boring; another dart aimed straight at Mary. She really is seething that Mary has a better blog ideas, more fans, real friends, some grace, actual discipline, strong family relationships ... and the list goes on.

    ReplyDelete
  64. There's no link for Scary Mary's blog here any more? Wha' happen?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Hey, I go to the gym for the shallow reasons (as well as the health and mental benefits), but I go 3 times a week and don't do bullshit "yoga" poses in front a mirror, with my camera in hand.

But exercise or not, she's still a fucking psycho bitch. Yes, that whole "I promise you'd REALLY LIKE ME if you met me" bullshit is just that - bullshit.

Julia, just because your parents have some money, that doesn't mean you have any class. You're a low-rent, loud mouth, social-climbing loser.

How's that HBS application coming along? What about the newfound spirituality?

    ReplyDelete
  66. Below is a post from last week where Julia Allison is (once again) lazily calling for ideas for TMI Weekly show topics. Of course, she has to call out which ones are Mary's ideas and then sort of poo poo on her sports idea. Honestly, I like Mary's ideas. They're creative, out of the box and not just more of the same tired Cosmo drivel. Flirting? Boxers or briefs?? Really? So, so trite and straight from the pages of my YM magazine from 1993. Also - her lame ideas are just MORE Julia-focused topics that give her a natural outlet for her to make it the ME ME ME ME show. OF COURSE she doesn't like Mary's ideas because they don't apply to her and don't give her a chance to hog the conversation for five minutes. She is beyond pathetic.

"Hi there. So, I’m working on brainstorming TMIweekly show topics for our April 10 shoot, and I’d love your suggestions/imput.
    1) Flirting!
    2) Boxers or Briefs (the question that will. not. die.)
    3) Wine episode (that was Mary’s idea)
    4) Watching sports with guys (also Mary’s idea. I refuse to watch sports with guys, girls, dogs. I do not watch sports.)
    5) What does Quality of Life mean to you?
    6) Quarter life crisis
Email me with what YOU’D like to see us talk about!!"

    ReplyDelete
  67. Boxers or briefs? Really, Julia? REALLY?

I don't know about you, but I canceled my Seventeen subscription at the age of 12.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Julia has no interests beyond herself. She is un-curious about other people.

    ReplyDelete
  69. from Wikipedia:

    Lake Michigan -

'Some environmental problems still plague the lake. Steel mills are visible along the Indiana shoreline, and the pollution caused by these mills is believed to contribute to the color of sunsets. Also, the Chicago Tribune reported that BP is a major polluter, dumping thousands of pounds of ammonia and raw sludge into Lake Michigan every day from its Whiting, Indiana, oil refinery.'

    Lake Erie -

'Lake Erie infamously became very polluted in the 1960s and 1970s. The water quality deteriorated due to increasing levels of the nutrient phosphorus in both the water and lake bottom sediments. The resultant high nitrogen levels in the water caused eutrophication, which resulted in algal blooms.'

    Lake Ontario -

'During modern times, the lake became heavily polluted from industrial chemicals, agricultural fertilizers, untreated sewage such as phosphates in laundry detergents, and chemicals. Some pollutant chemicals that have been found in the lake include DDT, benzo(a)pyrene and other pesticides; PCBs, aramite, lead, mirex, mercury, and carbon tetrachloride.'

Well, what do you know, that's three. THREE. DO YOU HEAR ME YOU STUPID FUCKING IDIOT? THREE. MOTHERFUCKING. POLLUTED. LAKES.

  70. I used to worry that people were being unfair to Julia, but no more. She is vapid and vile. Snark away!

    ReplyDelete
  71. What a passive agressive, unprofessional, ugly person. Why does Mary put up with it?

I know some commenters think Mary's approach is the right one. But I think you can stand up for yourself in a way that's public but also professional and I just don't think Mary has stood up for herself publicly, through her words or her behavior. She responded about Chicago but Chicago isn't the problem, the public attacks on her from her business partner and friend are the problem.

Someone needs to keep a blog that documents and screen caps every nasty and unethical thing Julia "I'm so nice" Allison says and does, and then post links to it whenever she protests about how nice she is, asks why people don't like her, calls her critics evil, and makes hypocritical speeches calling for the exact kind of behavior she never shows herself.

It's amazing that with her documented history of vile behavior all over the Internet she actually goes around posting inspriational quotes and going on about how nice, and victimized, she is, and some poor fools actually go for it!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Also: in Mary's latest recipe posts (the one with the butternut squash), am I wrong, or does she make reference to this here site? She posted a recipe from "(RBNS Reader Melissa via Vegan Yum Yum)".

  75. Julia Allison to Present at Parsons on March 23rd:
    http://tiny.cc/4KLPO

    Check out the comments! E.g.:
"wow. that's insane. i didn't realize parsons had a special ed program. nice work."

Couldn't some sneaky NYC based RBNSer get in to hear this today?

    ReplyDelete
  76. You are right, the great polluted lake! Mary does feature a recipe she says was sent in by an RBNS reader. HA.

Subtle jabs back at Julia like this one are much more clever and cutting than just posting something mean right back at her. You know it must drive Julia INSANE that Mary gets some sympathy here. If you read comments on the TMI shows, if people critique them personally, they almost always say something nice to Mary and something negative to Julia. She must hate that.

    ReplyDelete
  77. if she alienates her, how many friends will she have left? (not including strategic friendships...)

  78. please tell me that someone from RBNS will be in the crowd. pics and/or video would be amazing!

  81. 5:34PM - 'Visit Tropical Chicago'!!!

There are some very, very clever peeps on here. Keep bringing the funny.

Also, read through the comments re: Jackle's Parsons presentation. They are ALL negative, except for one. I hope we get dirt from someone who's there.

  82. I can. She's pissed at Mary for bailing on NonSociety. As NonSociety is essentially an extension of the Julia Allison brand, Mary is essentially rejecting HER and she's NOT GOING TO TAKE IT LYING DOWN.

The good news? Julia will ultimately drive Mary into spilling all sorts of horrible, ugly antics she's pulled that will make the [redacted] is bipolar incident seem minor.

I can't wait for the Burn Book to be made public.

  83. 1-Though Blaugher was correct in first crowing Mare the Handmaiden of Passive Aggression, I do believe that Jill from LIU has far surpassed even Mary's best efforts in this area.
2-It's extraordinary unprofessional to allow weeks to go by after it was publicly announced that a key member of your "product" is leaving, without mentioning ANYTHING about the future. Sponsors gravitate towards companies with competent public relations, even small companies, and they are clueless in this area.
3-In the context of #2 and all the other public wacky/mentally ill shenanigans from the past two weeks, we can now confirm with certainty that Nonsociety is like a bitchy after school club for girls or some kind of other pet project but nothing more.
4-Jill from LIU is obvs ratcheting up the aggression. She must be absolutely enraged that Mary has created an organized agenda for her content and is FOLLOWING THROUGH. When Mary tells the readers that she will provide X,y,z; she does!
5-The private beach which Jill's parent's multimillion dollar house sits on is nothing like the public beaches of chicago (which are beautiful but not delightful to swim in and only reach temperatures of like 65 in the middle of the July). Stupido!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Just caught Mary's response. I expected Mare to throw some passive aggression back at Jill from LIU. I was wrong. Instead it's a 100% classy response filled with refreshing honesty. Imagine that?

  85. Jacy, please don't suggest Julia return to her hometown/my adopted city. Good God. I don't fear she'll take up your suggestion, however, since I have a feeling she doesn't want to live in the vicinity of her parents... and vice versa, on her folks' part.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I second what Dahling has said! I think she'd take her parent's downtown abode though, don't you, Dahling? When Jules returns to my newly adopted city it will be to settle down with a doctor in Lincoln Park! Yoolia's love to Vinyard Vines, Headbands, Tutus, and bulemia will be easily embraced by the Lincoln Park Ladies.

  87. WOAH. What is going on!? Is Mary monitoring the TMI comments today?

    Read comments from celeste:
    http://www.tmiweekly.com/episode/TMI_20090323#comments

"Julia, I just read your comments re: this episode on your blog and dissing Mary publicly like that was a really low down, classless thing to do. If you had a problem with something she said on this episode, you should have handled it privately. You talk all the time about how women should be kind to one another on the web, but you don't follow your own advice very well. To publicly put your friend and business partner down like that was unprofessional, unkind and tacky."

  88. I think Julia is angling for a move to Los Angeles, actually. Crazy theory.

    ReplyDelete
  89. @Total Jing, it would totally not shock me if she did move to Chicago just because she's broke and knows she can stay in her parents' downtown condo for free. And similar to your forecast, I'm seeing a cosmetic dentist and Lakeview in her future. Kids get rejected from Latin School, of course.

@Anon 6:30 PM -- I thought she was seriously, seriously considering relocating to SF and LA. Basically, she knows that she's outstayed her welcome in New York.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Dahling: She'll want Latin or Parker and they'll be rejected at both! Don't send them to Sacred Heart....we believe in kindness!

Sadly, BF and I just relocated here (well last summer) for jobs and we settled in Lakeview. We will most certainly be moving when our lease is up!

  93. Change the name of this cite, sight, site to

PISS ALL OVER US BOOZY RAMBIN, WE LOVE THAT YOU HATE JULIA.

Commenter above totes correct, Mary interupts the hell out of Meghan's segment, but that's ok because we hate julia so much that MARY RAMBIN IS GOD.

I have met Mary Rambin and you obsessed-Julia-haters are so fucking naive when it comes to this entitled bitch. However, I have faith...if she ever does make good on her threats to leave NS, she will have 25 people from here [and I am being generous] that will support her blog. Too bad that's about all she will ever have.

  94. oooohhh you are so Julia or SM anon 7:16

    ReplyDelete
  95. @7:16 I don't think the point is that Mary is a great person or whatever. The point is that Julia's treatment of her is awful by any standard. Two wrongs don't make a right. I don't know if Mary is what you say she is, but even if she is, no one deserves to be treated with such rudeness and lack of professionalism.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Another idiot missing the point. Try harvesting some brain cells. The point is not that Mary is good/bad dumb/stupid, etc. The point is JA is a classless hag who constantly tries to publicly humiliate her.

The fact that JA has, in fact, by her actions made Mary seem sympathetic and likeable is proof enough of just how awful JA is.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I'm sure that 7:16 is correct. In fact, from what I've heard, 7:16 is 100% correct. Point is that Yoolia cannot help but embarrass herself at every turn while Mary, at the very least, is able to pretend she's receptive to criticism which will get her a lot farther in life.

  98. @The Great Polluted Lake 4:59

Mary was talking about me! she inspired me to try brussels sprouts, so i sent her my fav squash recipe. i told her that i am an RBNS reader that enjoyed her posts about trying to eat more/different veggies and wanted to share a recipe with her. she sent me a nice (short) thank you email. it was all very civil and made me love her even more. the fact that she actually posted the recipe (which really is delish!) is even more awesome.

I am glad she kept it classy when replying to Julia's horrible screed. who does she think she is posting this about her business partner and friend? it's so base and rude.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Total Jing: How dare you suggest that Julia Allison EVER embarrasses herself you stupid little c**t! What's the matter with you, didn't your daddy love you? It's not HER fault people who don't know how really really nice she is misinterpret her little jokes! She was just teasing Mary, trying to get her to finally come to Chicago and maybe move there too; share momser & daddy's condo together, you know! Have pillow fights in our undies and make crank phone calls to the pizza joint!! Living. so. differently. Momser just spend a fortune having the condo redecorated!! Remember!!!???? Of course Mary wants to live there with me!!

  101. Just one more on Lake Michigan. It's possible that the lake in Wilmette is less polluted, but you would have to be a total fool to think that Lake Michigan isn't polluted. As many have commented, the beaches are "no swim" several times during the year because of bacteria. And I used to love to swim in Lake Michigan. Just proves how sheltered and dumb this chick is.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Some part of me secretly hopes that Julia is one of her own haters and spends many of her nights mocking herself, writing self-diatribes like the one "I broke a heel; it destroyed my sole!" (great name, btw!) just posted.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Speaking of geographically challenged- Megs states that Santa Ynez is between Santa Barbara and LA, when in fact it is about an hour or two NORTH of SB, thusly making it between Santa Barbara and San Francisco. Girly, this is your home state, jeezus!

    ReplyDelete
  104. I totally started feeling sort of sorry for her woe is me routine, and then I woke up.

Some people can have a not so nice moment, and still be nice, but that is not the case here. This was such a tacky, ill-informed move. Is it that she is so enamored by the sound of her voice, that she feels she ALWAYS has to offer an opinion, however wrong it might be? That kind of display is tacky beyond measure. I just don't get it, and don't want to!!!!

By the way, I have many not nice moments, but I don't bullshit myself by saying, "No really, I'm nice", that's for someone else to decide, I don't get to decide that for them.

    ReplyDelete
  105. ^ Thank you for telling me where Santa Ynez is, Anonymous 8:42. I was trying to think of something right in between Santa Barbara and LA, and I was like "Does she mean Oxnard?"

    ReplyDelete
  106. Also, Julia has 2 crummy old photos from her parents backyard. Nice research Julia! Real great, quality work!

Mary and Meghan, it seems, did a lot more research! This is obvious in almost every episode. Yoolia is never prepared. Mary spends 5 minutes saving jpgs and writing down web sites and looks like a pro (she's not) in comparison!

    ReplyDelete
  107. They are both grade-A morons. Self-hating, woman-hating morons at that. But I do have to agree that Mary is being kind of bitchy by dissing on Chicago. I'm sure it was intentional dig at Julia/Obama.

Then again, if I were Julia, I wouldn't act out like this on my blog. I would just never link to Mary's little pathetic side project, make a mention of her twit of a gay friend on my blog and edit her in an unflattering light on TMI. But that is why Julia is always going to languish in micofame and micobusinesswoman skills--she doesn't posses the discretion or appropriate level of bitchiness to execute good revenge.
