  1. OK, maybe I'm stupid (although I doubt it), but who are the guys in the photo?

  2. I was leaning Hitler, but this one is killing me. Kudos to the photoshopper! You've got skills.

  3. They are the smartest guys in the room (Enron). Looks like Julia has been hiding a few cupcakes off balance sheet if you know what I'm sayin'.

  4. Awesome!!! They're all awesome but this one warmed my heart.

  5. I think JA would (will?) be absolutely flattered by this caption contest. In her mind, this has just become a fan site.

  8. will she? because she's started getting placed alongside the most despicable people in history. fitting, actually.
but how much can you rip apart right now (what has she done lately that hasn't been parsed her, and god forbid her appearance gets discussed otherwise... DRAMAAAA)? I think this is hilarious. Hilter + Enron pics ftw

  11. You might call these people infamous, but all Julia hears is famous.

  12. That last comment was @Anon 8:42, btw.

  13. I totally agree crazytrain. This is ripe for the "I'm such a good sport I'll link to the people making fun of me" treatment that JA likes to take part in every so often to show that she's in on the joke. Except I don't think she's in on it at all. I think she's just unable to resist being drawn in by what she must consider the most fascinating image in the world, her own likeness.

By the way this doesn't mean I don't think the photos aren't hilarious. Any focus on Julia assumes the risk that she'll find the attention flattering, especially when it includes an image of her. It's just a to-be-expected side effect of discussing someone completely self-obsessed.

  14. Anyone who comes here regularly must assume the responsibility that they are feeding the monster in some respects. I think we all have to accept that, quite frankly. Part of this blog's attraction is that you know, jules is reading it, and love-hating, or hate-hating (i.e. middle of the night video) it.

  15. Seriously. It's only HALF fun if it's parsed and she doesn't read. It's TWICE as much that she not only reads, but alters her behavior according to much of what's posted here or in anticipation of what might be posted here. Funny to watch. :D

  16. "Anyone who comes here regularly must assume the responsibility that they are feeding the monster "

    So true.

  17. I for one, have zero qualms as far as feeding the beast. I find her humorous in a wonderfully trainwrecky way, so when the "you're giving her what she wants" comments come, I have to shrug and meh. Julia Allison - not any site on the internet documenting her utter inanity - will be her downfall all on her own. We're all only here for the ride and um, inevitable crash and burn. ;)

  18. I'm not worried about making her more "famous". Fame hasn't done much for Heidi and Spencer (sure, they make money, but I don't think anybody with a brain envies them at all.) The bigger she gets, the more people there will be making fun of her. It's highly hilarious entertainment for me.

Jankles' quest for fame reminds me of this wonderful quote by the great Lily Tomlin: "I always wanted to be somebody. Now I realize I should have been more specific." (apologies to Ms. Tomlin if I butchered that quote)

  19. Uh... this snark blog is not making her more famous. It's a couple dozen folks slagging on her for a laff. Julia Baugher has not figured out a way to monetize or capitalize on that because she is waaaay to insecure and concerned with her "image." Heidi and Spencer have a TV show and they get paid for it. Julia has nothing outside of speaking at student clubs and pointlessly traveling to places she is not wanted. HUGE difference.

  20. I don't think the most people here have suggested this blog is making her more famous. Some do seem to think however that Julia herself might see it differently, since she seems to see any attention even negative attention, as validation.
