Yulia: The old hooker go to church on Easter, Part 28

With my mom after Easter services. She cried during the Baptism of this adorable little baby boy. It was so sweet!!

And Jesus cry just like Momsers.

  1. This is why I don't buy that she was raised with a dime. Only white trash would wear a skirt that high in church.

  2. How ginormous does Julia's head look compared to her friend's? http://julia.nonsociety.com/lifecast/95519899-0-8

  3. Yeah well, money obviously doesn't buy class.

And that headband/bow monstrosity looks even more ridiculous from far away.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Her mothers looks like she's posing with a theme park furry, i.e. Mini Mouse at Disney Land. But it's CHURCH! And Julia isn't a furry!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Julia isn't thin enough to wear a skirt that short... in church or not.

Also, isn't the rule: mini skirt wit sleeves? longer skirt without?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Normal women in their late 20s don't dress up in goofy outfits and take pictures in church on Easter like six-year-old girls. They simply have better things to do, grown-up things that little Miss Sunshine here would know nothing about. And if they are wearing a fantastic Easter hat they don't need to do a pose and post to prove they are fabulous. They simply are.

  7. Momsers was crying because its obvious she ain't gonna get no grandbaby.

    ReplyDelete
  8. How embarrassed must her parents have been in front of their peers to walk in that church with that ridiculous atrocity by their side? What can you say to an adult child on this sort of thing? Oh my God, I feel so sorry for these people. They must be beside themselves.

  9. She is just pure trash. Trash.

  10. Are those high heels? With that skirt?

  11. As the (fellow) mother of a narcissistic daughter, I offer this theory: Maybe Julia's mother knows that her daughter is an unrepentent narcissist and that telling her to dress appropriately is just a waste of time and breath. I can't imagine that the poor woman hasn't seen shades of this behavior for her daughter's entire life, and is aware of how other people see her, but on the other hand is unable to stop Julia or make her aware of the cruelty of the consequences she will most certainly eventually face.

  12. I think she just says "F*ck it! I wanna wear headbands and so I will!". I think she thinks she's really ballsy and strong, that's all. She gives in to her every impulse and sees herself in such a removed light...she definitely has an imagination -- no creativity -- but a fantasy world she lives in. ALL. THE. TIME. (finger snapping)

  13. ok, seriously. i think julia allison is an idiot, and dysfunctional though it may be, i check out her site (and this one) for a nice, relaxing dose of schadenfreude. and while i'd agree with almost everything that was said about the inappropriateenss of her outfit, idiotic imitation of blair waldofr, etc, today, i have to say - enough with the frigging comments about julia's weight. whether she is as ridiculously skinny as she was after breaking up with jakob, whether she's lucky enough to be able to hide a few rumored extra pounds on her ass under a poofy skirt instead of having them stick to her middle like the rest of us, the girl is nowhere near fat. and for that, i think people should leave her the hell alone.

and yes. call me pathetic for even lurking here. cause you know, we all kind of are.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Do you guys notice how she puts her arms out in a half-bird-flap position to make them appear skinnier? god forbid they rest on her sides...

Julia, what's it like to be you?!? Always worried about everything!!!

    ReplyDelete
  15. 7:44 -- i dont think she looks fat at all. Don't worry, there are some of us who agree with you. You just have to ignore the comments...it comes with the territory of JA and this site. She puts it out there and this place if full of opinions...its ok.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Also, the curve of the leg is to conceal the bow leggedness. I actually think bow legs are fine. And so is arm chub. It's the contorted positions to conceal the realities that all women deal with that is just weird and super obvious.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Wanda, I have it on very good authority that this is the case. In fact she has even taking to warning Julia's friends about her.....

    ReplyDelete
  18. Don't know about all you but I love the show "What Not to Wear". They dress women of ALL shapes and sizes without judgement and in the end, IMHO, each and every one of them, regardless of body shape, size, this or that problem area, come out looking polished, stylish, and damn good.
Julia's problem isn't her weight or her shape, it's the WAY she dresses; her constant parade of slutty daddy's girl, slutty blogger, slutty santa's helper; slutty attention whore, is often inappropriate to the occassion, usually age inappropriate (she sure does wear a hell of a lot of pre-teen/tween type clothing); and more often than not, just plain unflattering to the perfectly fine body she has. She can look smoking hot when she doesn't try so hard. But it's always too much. Eyes and lips and cleavage overdone all at once. Or today, bow, belt, lace gloves, matching ring, frills, mini-skirt, high-heels, pearls. Lose at least three them and she'd be not too bade (but that skirt is really not her friend; pretty enough, but quite a few inches too high and her tiny waist is working against her here with that poofy blouse).

    ReplyDelete
  19. here is proof to anyone who thinks she is at all in on the joke in any way. a perfect opportunity for her to have a normal respectful morning with family far away from NY and she can't do it. she could have come home after church put on too much makeup smutty clothes 4 sizes too small and a glued together DIY headband and taken pictures for her blog. but, it's not a character ts her. So really find her so sad and just pathetic. I can't even wrap my head around it, it disgusts me on a deep, deep level though.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I think her mom looks terrific, and even more so standing next to that disaster of a Disney action figure.

I probably spent too much time thinking about this, but I was trying to imagine how to actually wear that skirt and coat. I actually like the coat, and although the look is certainly not one I would want to wear, I have to believe that, styled properly, it could actually work for some occasion.

So this is a WWMD - What would Mary do? I don't think of Mary as a particularly accomplished stylist, but I am mildly curious how she would attempt to wear this, as it is clearly designed for someone with her build.

The best I could come up with was the skirt paired with a perfect white shirt (every woman needs one - the perfect sexy white button down), with a white camisole underneath. Those heels are a disaster - I am guessing unassuming kitten heels at most.

    ReplyDelete
  21. @8:38? WWMD? Detach the hoodie from the coat and wear it as a top.

    ReplyDelete
  22. May I just add that I found myself today in an adjacent neighborhood to Wilmette, and it was at the peak of the day, a chilly 50-degrees that felt like 40 with wind chill. For her to parade around like that in this weather is ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Does anyone else ever think that maybe this blog and those like it, are exactly what JA wants? For someone with a narcissistic personality, this place is Shangri-La. Whatever she might say on her late night videos, there is nothing JA wants more than to have her every movement and thought dissected - and we do it for her. If we really want JA to go away, we should ignore her. But that's not what we want. The woman is the Captain Hook of the blogosphere. I am completely guilty of enjoying my daily dose of Allischeudenfraude - but I make no claims to doing this because I want to influence her/the world for good. In fact, I'm starting to wonder what's wrong with me that I would continually expose myself to something so very sad. Maybe it's just that we all need a punching bag sometimes and JA WANTS to be our target-for her, it's better than not being noticed.

    ReplyDelete
  24. One, I agree with all the other comments - that skirt is ENTIRELY too short to be worn any place where one is not soliciting money for sexual activity.

Two, again, this photo is indicative of this central theme - the world is all about Julia. She takes pictures of herself at famous art museums. She takes pictures of herself in front of the place of worship. Julia, it's not your wedding day - Easter is one of the holiest days in the Christian faith, and it does not warrant a head-to-toe look of your ridiculous look. Like everything else in her life, she treats religion as nothing more than a dress-up photo opportunity.

I don't feel bad for her family at all. Any decent mother would have recognized that a photo conducted in this nature in front of a chuch (beyond, say, a wedding or a baptism) is wholly inappropriate and, quite frankly, disgusting.

    ReplyDelete
  25. 8:53, I think you are spot on, but you missed one element of the story - the internet is her entire social circle. Including the critics. Hell, probably especially the critics.

I don't think she has a single friendship in the conventional sense of the word, because she herself is incapable of being that kind of friend. Ultimately, anyone who has any meaningful interaction with her realizes that she is completely and utterly untrustworthy and will divulge a confidence if it gets her attention or something of equal value to her.

And still, I don't feel sorry her, because she dismisses any advice or criticism and soldiers on in her quest to be notorious. I pity her, sure, but I don't feel sorry for her.

    ReplyDelete
  26. A strong, independent, media-savvy woman should not be criticized for attending church with her family in an outfit that screams "finger-bang me!".

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well, that is the closest she is going to come to being photographed in anything white at the altar of a church, so she kind of had to go for it.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Absolutely 9:04. This is the kind of 'over the top' thing that strippers wear all the time when working.

    Trust me.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Anon @ 9:10, so what you're saying is that outfit belongs in Balthazar, not church, and when there's a tacky editor of a men's magazine sitting next to her?

    ReplyDelete
  30. 9:10: "finger bang me!"

    LMAO!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Ok - I really need to pull back. I've gone way too far this time. I just watched the whole Kelli Zink demo reel.

Not good. Just a tad bored tonight I guess.

    Yikes.

Somebody nail me to a cross or something.

    ReplyDelete
  32. This reminds me of little girls wearing fairy costumes in public - their moms are indulging them and it is usually a once in a while thing. Julias mom looks like she is indulging her "special-needs" daughter who wants to dress up like porno Alice in Wonderland in public.

It's fairly tragic and disrespectful to seek sexual attention in your parents church at Easter.

Imagine the kinds of calls the Mom must get after Julia leaves town. How embarrassing.

    ReplyDelete
  33. WTF is going on with this photoshoot in CHURCH? And it's condoned by the parents, as Daddy Baugher has photo credits and Mother Baugher is posing!

I am not religious, but I grew up with intensely religious parents - Catholics - and I cannot believe that her parents use a church as a set. From JAB, sure, but I figured the parents had more class than that.

    ReplyDelete
  34. this makes me so upset, and i'm not even religious. my grandma, however, was religious and loved going to church. she was the sweetest old lady who never got angry with anyone, but i know she would've been angry had she seen julia allison at her church.

STOP MAKING MY GRANDMA ANGRY, JULIA ALLISON.

this outfit is so much more appropriate -- and sexy in its own right without being offense -- and i just love this woman's blog: http://whatiwore.tumblr.com/post/95462815/what-i-wore-easter-sunday

by the way, i usually would steer clear of a blog called What I Wore, but this girl sews her own shit and has a real job and self-confidence (among many other fine qualities). Jessica Schroeder is all-around awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Well, turns out Julia's friendship with Randi and Mark Zuckerberg paid off. Facebook is copying Twitter and recommending certain users now, and Julia is one of them. But check out this comment on the story:

    "Livecrunch (URL) said:

Nothing wrong by doing imitation, but I do find wrong is that people are promoted for wrong reason , like for example Julia f*** Mark :) therefore she is on the list. Yet celebrities that pay thousands of dollars if not millions for charity don't get promoted..."

  36. This outfit reminds me of what I wore for ONE SECOND when I lost a lot of weight in high school and went from being the fat girl to the quasi-cute girl.

My mom quickly pulled me aside and explained that dressing like a whore wasn't the way to celebrate my new body nor was it the way to attract the attention of anyone worth while.

Having said that, there are more than a few things wrong with this picture.

    A. Julia hasn't lost over 50 pounds. I know we don't like to talk weight on here, but I think it's fair to say that she's gained weight. Most people react to this natural issue by covering up, not wearing a slutty Bo Peep Halloween costume.

    B. Julia isn't in high school. She's 10 years out.

    C. Julia's parents aren't pulling her aside. Instead, they are posing at her side. *shudder*

    D. This picture was taken in a church.

For someone who loves to assert her Georgetown-educated brain, why doesn't she use it? She's in Chicago, and if today's New York weather required a jacket, I doubt Chicago was the tropical paradise she's dressed for.

She's trying too hard, and as someone who's been there, I can relate... but she's too old for this. If her insecurity is this crippling - that she has to display the goods for constant affirmation of her worth - she needs therapy, and she needs it now.

    ReplyDelete
  37. farmsworth, jessica, the chick from what i wore, designed julia's birthday invite. apparently they have a mutual friend. kinda strange coincidence...

    ReplyDelete
  38. BunnyBingo,

Just more proof that Facebook is the Windows of social networking while Twitter is the Apple. In 5 years, people won't be caught dead on Facebook.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Okay, I know that I am going to sound as if I am 87 years old here (I am not, I am 32), and a few other people have made similar comments, but I absolutely cannot believe that JA would go into a church dressed like that. The length of that skirt is not to be believed (and, as I said, I am not a prude). I also think all of the photo taking in church, bringing her dog in and taking more photos in a church earlier (around Holy Thursday, Good Friday), it just boggles the mind.

And the wild thing is -- she (and her family) seem to have to problem with the whole hyper-sexualized way she dresses.

Really disrespectful. As someone noted earlier, Easter is one of the holiest days of the year... and for her to traipse around like that. What if she went to a synagogue dressed like that during their High Holy Days? (Give her a few weeks, I suppose, she probably will.)

On one level, I really feel sorry for her, and those two other girls she hangs out with. Don't they know any better?

    ReplyDelete
  40. It is truly one of the trashiest, most low-rent outfits I've ever seen. She looks like a stripper in bad schoolgirl outfit. Does she think dudes find this attractive? If you started seeing her and Googled her and found this? As a horny, accomplished, attractive guy (if I do say so myself), I am telling you right now, I might hang around for awhile to fuck her, but that photo alone would assure that I would never view her as someone I would ever introduce to my family or get serious about. Do I want my mother and sisters Googling her and seeing her in church in that get-up? They would never let me live it down.

How can she not recognize that?

The only kind of dudes she is going to attract behaving this way are perverted old men or dudes my age who want nothing from her but a hate fuck. What a poor, dumb girl she is. A mutton dressed up as a lamb who refuses to see the truth when she looks in the mirror.

    ReplyDelete
  41. omg. the term "hate fuck" really scares me.

    ReplyDelete
  42. @chescaleigh:

Incorrect. JA tried to get Jessica (whatiwore) to design a dress for her pink birthday blowout last year and pronounced her an instant close friend (who was providing her services for free in exchange for JA pimping her on her blog.

Then the dress wasn't up (or, more likely, down) to JA's standards and she went with another dress and NEVER mentioned Jessica again.

It was almost textbook JA - friends until the utility expires, then burn the bridge. Also, she knew of Jessica through Jakob's brother - this was right after the whole bipolar disclosure on Gawker.

Think of me as Dan, custodian of her memories.

    ReplyDelete
  43. It probably IS Dan.

    ReplyDelete
  44. 12:07, well, jessica DID design the save the date for JA's bicoastal party.

    http://julia.nonsociety.com/post/78713946-0-0

after i saw it i emailed jessica about it cause i was kinda confused and...disappointed. jessica said she had designed a corset for JA that she wore to fashion week she also did a few design projects for her. according to her jessica's boyfriend was good friends with lodwick and that's how they met. even though my email to jessica kinda implied my dislike of JA she kept it really classy and didn't say anything more.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Custodian of MemoriesApril 13, 2009 at 12:25 AM

I was referring solely to the dress issue, as it was classic Julia. She tried to get something of value for nothing but blog plugs, then abruptly dismissed Jessica when it didn't work out to her satisfaction.

Julia's Lifetime movie of the week would be The Burning Bridge.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I spent Easter Sunday with my Irish Catholic family. including my aunt, Sister Rose, attending mass and a large family gathering afterward. How horrifying to click on RBNS and discover Julia Allison Baugher running around her church on the most sacred of days dressed in the guise of a low rent hooker. Or maybe this outfit is more appropriate for a haggard porn star attempting to play the baby doll on camera? I hope that Julia's parents objected. However, I doubt that Dad in his garish powder blue suit said a thing and just snapped away. One can only imagine the comments in the congregation.

Thanks again, Jules, for once again proving that it's all about you, even down to creepily sexualizing Easter Sunday.

    ReplyDelete
  47. OMG. Is that a matching little bag? She is a mental midget.

    ReplyDelete
  48. custodian, not to defend JA but are you positive she didn't pay Jessica? I can't imagine she did work for JA just for a blog plug. she doesn't need JA's promotion at all. she just had a spread in Lucky magazine!!

    ReplyDelete
  49. http://trainwrecks.tumblr.com/post/79560975/juliaallison-at-dinner-with-the-wonderful

    ReplyDelete
  50. Her Lucky Magazine "spread" was an advertorial. She won a contest. She was also trying desperately to work her way into David Karp's inner circle for a while. She's a budding JAB.

    ReplyDelete
  51. If u say so.. Except Jessica has talent and class.

    ReplyDelete
  54. No one in New York media likes Jessica. And the talent, in my opinion, is pretty questionable. She can sew, but none of her clothes or styling, nor that invitation, are particularly impressive to me.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Here she is doing the Julia: http://julia.nonsociety.com/lifecast/26262140--

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'm surprised to hear people don't like her. But then again, i dont know her IRL. Personally, I love her style. It's funky but professional which I really like.

    ReplyDelete
  57. She's also big on The Secret, which to me is always a huuuuuuuge red flag.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Don't jump on Jessica Schroeder, please. She's talented and sweet, and the corset she designed for JA (a year ago) got photographed during Fashion Week and included in a mag collage, so it worked out for Jessica. And for all the "OMG we're gonna be bff" posting that JA did (more than a year ago), there haven't been any photos of the two of them hanging out. I was surprised to see that JS designed that bday invite, but what the hell, she likes to draw -- and JA likes to use. I think JS likes to think the best of people, but as for being a JA wannabe -- no. She doesn't exploit others, or her sexuality. She's a hard worker, and pours a lot of effort into her passion. Let's not drag her into this.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Julia has one seriously weird relationship with her Dad I am guessing. Dad is photographing this sick easter bunny madness.

    ReplyDelete
  60. 1:32 am come on. jessica definitely has an actual talent. she has a decent sense of style, some graphic design skills, as well as the ability to draw. don't be a dick and say she has "questionable" talent a la Julia Allison.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Jessica may be talented, but is batshit insane - trust. She IS talented though, which is more than I can say for Julia.

    ReplyDelete
  62. 1:48 -- Those aren't exactly raves for her talent. She is a hard little worker bee, unlike JAB.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Chescaleigh,

Her clothing design for JA was a year ago. Jessica was not in Lucky till recently and her blog wasn't nearly as well known then from what I recall. Whether money changed hands I don't know. But knowing JA...

    ReplyDelete
  64. OK, LET ME 1RST SAY I AM A RBNS-ER NOT A JA 'FAN'. THAT SAID. THIS IS A REPLY TO ANON 'April 13, 2009 12:06 AM'

It is truly one of the trashiest, most low-rent outfits I've ever seen. She looks like a stripper in bad schoolgirl outfit. Does she think dudes find this attractive?

I'M PRETTY SURE SHE HAS NOT SAID AT ALL TODAY "HEY DUDES I KNOW YOU FIND ME ATTRACTIVE!!" WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT WHAT SHE WORE ON EASTER HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH WHAT 'DUDES' FIND ATTRACTIVE'?

If you started seeing her and Googled her and found this? As a horny, accomplished, attractive guy (if I do say so myself), I am telling you right now, I might hang around for awhile to fuck her,

WHY ARE YOU EVEN MENTIONING F*ING HER? WHERE IS THIS COMING FROM? THIS IS AN OUTFIT SOMEONE WORE TO CHURCH & YOU SOMEHOW THINK ITS CONNECTED WITH HER HAVING SEX WITH YOU? I AM STARTING TO THINK THAT WHEN YOU SAY 'DUDES' YOU ACTUALLY MEAN YOURSELF. WHY DONT YOU JUST SAY "DOES SHE THINK 'I' FIND THIS ATTRACTIVE?" IS IT BECAUSE THAT SOUNDS CRAZY.I THINK YOU NEED TO GET HELP.

but that photo alone would assure that I would never view her as someone I would ever introduce to my family or get serious about.

UMM, DUDE, ARE YOU CRAZY? YOUR FAMILY?!? GET SERIOUS ABOUT?!? WHAT?!? TAKE THE CRAZY PILLS BUDDY NO ONE HAS MENTIONED YOUR FAMILY.

Do I want my mother and sisters Googling her and seeing her in church in that get-up? They would never let me live it down.

    YOUR MOTHER & SISTERS?!? ...WOW.

How can she not recognize that? The only kind of dudes she is going to attract behaving this way are perverted old men or dudes my age who want nothing from her but a hate fuck.

AGAIN, WHY ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT HER ATTRACTING 'DUDES'? I SEE YOU'VE REALLY THOUGHT IT OUT.YOU'VE EVEN COME UP WITH TERMS NOT KNOWN OUTSIDE OF (PROBABLY YOUR) SEX OFFENDER LISTINGS.

What a poor, dumb girl she is. A mutton dressed up as a lamb who refuses to see the truth when she looks in the mirror.

WOW, THAT IS REALLY DEEP. THIS WAS JUST LIKE READING EMERSON.

*every now and then i come across a comment from some guy who seems to think that women live only to please them and need to have it pointed out that they are not worthy of the guy having sex with them. they will usually say "guys dont like" or "dudes dont like". it gets pretty sick when you have women just going to school, making a living, volunteering, riding the bus, ext. and some guys are looking at them as if this (wife, daughter, mother, student, nurse ,even celebrity) needs to live up to what some strange guy finds worthy of a sexual relationship.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Wow, someone found the Caps Lock key.

    ReplyDelete
  66. kanye, is that you? :)

but seriously, what is it with the hate fuck talk, 12.06? i think jules is doing a very good job in frequently degrading herself and really doesn't need other people to do it for her.

  67. Mary launched her new site, guys: http://morethanmary.com/

But, all I see is trust-fund.

    Nothing new here.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Mary has comments and content! Her page is designed better than any beta or non beta version of NS. I support her new initiative

    ReplyDelete
  75. I still hate her fugly soccer mom hair. wtf was she thinking cutting off her hair? She looks like a freaking lesbian now.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Wow, what's with the all-caps crazy lady who was in here overnight?

    ReplyDelete
  77. Um, partypants? Is that really partypants? DID YOU REALLY JUST SAY THAT?

    ReplyDelete
  78. I love that some crazy feminazi came in here just to jump all over some dude being a typical dude here BY RESPONDING IN ALL CAPS TO PROVE HER POINT! SHE MUST HAVE LEARNED THIS TECHNIQUE FROM KANYE WEST HIMSELF!!!!1!!!
I guess she felt the need to shout at the fella. I'm surprised she didn't follow up her comments with the typical Kanye-ism, SQUID BRAINS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  79. What, now we aren't allowed to say someone looks like a lesbian? Please look at Mary. Please scoot over and google image Cynthia Nixon. They have the same hair. Mary has lesbian hair. I'm sorry if you can't accept that. Sounds like a personal problem on your end, though.

    ReplyDelete
  80. There's no such thing as "lesbian hair." To whit: Portia DeRossi. What a stupid thing to say.

And yeah, the feminazi was out of control. I personally appreciated that guy's perspective. And OF COURSE she dresses to get male attention. She's not dressing up like that to impress Momsers, that's for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Wtf? It was not a stupid thing to say. It's my fucking opinion. What is the god damned problem with the commenters on this blog lately?

    ReplyDelete
  82. I'm sure it's been discussed on previous posts but THE Blair Waldorf would never be caught dead in that outfit. I actually watch the show, rather than pretend I do and just wear bow headbands. If you are going to sweat a teenager going to an elite high school, then DO it the right way!! Now I must go see Mary's new page. Go Mary!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I haven't seen a single episode of Gossip Girl:Teen Porn Unleashed know that this outfit is completely ridiculous/highly inappropriate/totally ignorant for a 30 year old woman.

  84. Uh...we're throwing the word "feminazi" around now? You realize Rush Limbaugh made up that word just to make feminists sound like fascists, right? And that you're doing Rush Limbaugh's bidding using it? And that it's a totally idiot term that makes you sound like an assholes besides?

    ReplyDelete
  85. God get over it. No one is going to change their minds from an angry comment chastising their own angry comment.

  87. She apparently doesn't understand that the shorter the skirt, the wider the hips look. Either that, or she buys knee-length skirts and her butt is so shelf-like, that it pulls the hem up WAY too high.

  88. I cannot stand how condescendingly she captions photos of her mother (the one above, and others like: here is my mom at her very first fashion show, ever. She was so thrilled...etc.) The mom must just let it roll off her back; she must be used to it after all these years. I suppose it is part of being a parent; you love your kids so try to accept/ignore their faults. That's probably quite job in this case, though, given Julia's many pathologies.
