Julia Flashback: A Periodic Look Back To Happier, Equally Fucked Up Times

One of the greatest things about RBNS are the sleuths that are our commenters. And someone yesterday found archives of the infamous Jakob and Julia blog. And it makes for some truly fascinating reading given that Jackles simply cannot provide substantive content until things "calm down" because she's been sooooo busy going out for dinners, allowing Lilly to shit in people's offices and Twitter-harassing people during all-nighters.

Here's a little insight into the mind of Jackles from her man at the time (and as an aside ... how embarrassed would you have been to be going out with her the night this picture was taken?):

Weird Thing About Julia #1

The woman has almost zero cultural knowledge whatsoever.

She has been to two concerts in her life; her iPod is filled with songs from Disney movies and 1980s love songs (ie, as an adult, she has discovered no music); she has never seen the movie Star Wars (and tonight referred to it as “Space Wars or whatever”); she had never gotten high off “the pot” (and she actually calls it “the pot”, not as a joke).

I like her, so I see these bizarre traits not as something to laugh at, but as a great potential. It’s the chance to expose her to classic art that all my friends and I have loved for years. For example, she doesn’t know who Radiohead is. This is not a joke. I can’t wait to sit her down with a copy of OK Computer, dim the lights, and melt into that incredible album.

  3. So why has her family not got her the mental health care she needs?

  4. She's deaf, dumb and blind to the world, chasing a cupcake up her own asshole. Interested in anything only to the degree it can help her gain status or fuck-you money. I think even her dog sees this now, and wants out.

  5. That pretty much describes Julia Allison now. She never goes to movies, concerts and doesn't seem to read anything outside of airport bookstore business books and fashion magazines. It's really bizarre how she seems to have grown up in a vacuum with zero pop culture knowledge whatsoever (yet wants to call herself a new media pioneer). But I guess when you think about it, when your number one interest in life is YOURSELF, it doesn't leave much time to explore other things. What a sad, empty life. I know people like this - who almost pride themselves on not having seen major pop culture movies, books etc. and they are generally really boring dinner/party companions. They can't make any small talk outside of talking about themselves. Julia is most likely the same way. I really don't know how any of her SUPER DUPER VIP dinner companions put up with her, unless they are as equally vapid and navel gazing.

  6. I am going to come out in Jakob's corner here. Yeah, he's not the greatest guy in the world (who is?), but Julia is a complete savage compared to him. He at least tries, people! And whether he's a great guy or not (he's not my cup of tea, but whateves), he actually tries to improve himself. Julia? *crickets*

  7. Ah, these two, so deserving of each other. Good times...
Whaat I love about the skeletal remains of jaobandjulia is that the sick dynamic comes through right from the beginning. She is constantly showing how little she actually liked him, despite all the I care a lot BS, and is making one passive aggressive jab after the other and displaying her trademark insecurity.

    Exhibit A:
My favorite thing about Jakob’s office is how many photographs of me there are. Oh, wait. There aren’t any!
    Posted by julia

    Exhibit B:
Jakob took down a poster in his office that reminded me of a girl he slept with when we were first dating.
I’m not a jealous person, but I didn’t like seeing it. It just made me a little nauseous.
The fact that he took it down says a lot - in my opinion - about how much he values my feelings.

    Exhibit C:
Yes, my gape-mouthed readers, that - right there on Jakob Sparks Lodwick - is a SUIT JACKET. From whom he stole it, I do not know, but it gives me hope for the future. A future which maybe will … one day … include something other than a tee-shirt?

  8. I think Jake should get a pass. He got out kept kinda quiet and is doing his thing. The poor guy actually DID build something, no not a skyscraper, but still. I think it's Jake 2.0 Karp that is the real tool here.

  9. I.S. -- what a bitch. No wonder Jakob Lodwick dumped Julia Allison and promptly slept with Mary Rambin's hotter, younger sister Leven Rambin soon after. Julia Allison is a complete asshat, as evidenced by that incredibly creepy photo above. What a demented, ugly skank.

  10. Re: Exhibit C

If you are saying, never mind blogging, that shit early on in a relationship, as in before the one-year mark, you are digging your own grave. Who the hell is she, his mother? And why would anyone choose to continue in a relationship with some shrieking harridan who's on him about his clothes right off the bat? What would that tell you about how she was going to behave in the long term?

    My God she's an idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I agree with Loren. I think the comment, "ie, as an adult, she has discovered no music" is so cutting and brilliant. Also, Jake stopped updating that blog after like a week or so. Julia kept going on...

Also, I heart Jake's entry when he rats Jules out as "HATING" Mark Zuckerberg.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Loren: I'm with you. Possibly because I love Radiohead and that revelation caused my jaw to drop. Not to mention "the pot."

  13. Julia - "Just subway/walked home in the rain from an amazing three hour sushi chatfest with Miss Erica Huss. I adore her. Happily in my PJs now!
about 11 hours ago from web"

Erica Huss is the founder of BluePrint Cleanse. Perhaps she was carefully explaining to Julia Allison that combining crash diet juices with cupcakes = weight gain? And why the hell does Julia always mention how many hours she spoke with someone? (especially with Sarah Lacey). Is she trying to prove to the world that one person can tolerate her talking AT them for more than 15 minutes? Why is EVERYTHING that Julia tweets so damn obnoxious? I have never seen anyone fit that much obnoxiousness into 140 characters, but she manages it. It's almost like a gift. That you want to return for gift cards.

  14. http://tr.youtube.com/watch?v=giMKt23VIEQ We really need to parse this. The best part is when she offensively mocks a caller (who, granted, was faking it as well, but her mocking offends a whole group of people). Her true colors and personality shine because she's being attacked. It's amazing.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I don't think it's that Julia has been deprived of popular culture. She makes a choice to not embrace anything, cultural or otherwise, that's not a freebie or handed to her on a silver platter. The books she reads are the freebies she picked up on a visit to Zappos, the movies she sees are because she's begged someone to take her, she saw 3 plays on Broadway during the last year after posting a PLEA on her website for someone to take her...

She won't lift a finger unless it's to accept something free or to be spoon fed.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yeah, I guess, I just find him awkward. Not that I was in any way qualified to make a judgement because I don't know him and don't really care either.

Btw, am I the only one who finds it strange that she says she'll get back to providing content for her "business" once things have calmed down? I thought that was her "job". How can you be too busy for your fake job???

    ReplyDelete
  17. God, I had forgotten how painful it was to watch that relationship implode. He's clearly in the "I'm trying to justify things about her that actually don't work for me by turning her into a project."

Also, my firewall at work won't let me view the webarchives site so post more J&J excerpts!

  18. And what the FUCK does she do all day??? Sleep until noon, obsessively google herself, attempt to shut down critical bloggers, commenters and twitters, go on late night dates, stay up all night doing god knows what, sleep until noon the next day... and so on. SHE DOES NOTHING!!!!! What is there that needs to "calm down?"

JULIA ALLISON IS A PATHETIC, LAZY BITCH

  19. Look at that fucking stupid slutty Santa outfit. And she wondered why she got dumped. She really is Regina George.

    ReplyDelete
  20. And you guys wondered why some of us were bringing Jakob up when this site first started. THIS IS WHY. It's a goldmine!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I was a reader of that blog from beginning to end(it seemed like a stupid idea but it made for quite a guilty pleasure of trainwreck-style blogging), and I was always on Jakob's side.
He just seemed like the smarter, saner side of that duo and seemed to enjoy discussing things that didn't soley revolve around THEM and their daily doings/relationship, unlike Julia.

Julia was the one who would always post these retarded diatribes about him and their romance. She would post these stupid rants where she seemed almost psychotic with her obsession over them; Jakob was always the one pretty much telling her to chill out and quit going apeshit over things between them ON A PUBLIC BLOG.
She always seemed like some dumb self-absorbed teenager constantly discussing her latest "going steady" victim with her desperate attempt to come across like the next Carrie Bradshaw.

Although I liked how she seemed to stick up for Jakob's looks. Probably because I actually have a thing for nerdy guys too.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Julia Allison is totally Regina George, right down to her BluePrint Cleanse - it's like her version of Calteen Bars. She thinks juicing is making her skinny, but it's really making her fatter than ever.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Julia only stood up for Jakob's looks because she didn't want to come across as someone who would date an unattractive guy. In her eyes BEAUTIFUL Julia would usually be above dating a skinny dork like Jakob. It was just a guise to make it seem like she wasn't 100% dating him for his money and status, which she totally was.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Am I a weirdo because I've always found Jakob Lodwick to be abnormally hot? And not just because he is a rich web founder??

    ReplyDelete
  25. I've had a crush on Jakob for years.

    ReplyDelete
  26. But she's a "journalist" right? There was something in this space a couple of weeks ago about someone going to go see Julia talk somewhere about something (I forget exactly). Julia was taking questions at the end. Somebody asked her about writing and/or journalism and she suggested trying to get to write for the Huffpost because 'they will take anybody' - something like that. Never - 'go find a story you feel is underreported and dig into it', no, never anything like that. Never even occurred to her.

She is going to be the next Oprah. So its only journalism to the extent that it is a vehicle to self-glorification. Here's a story: look at my nails - what do you think? I can't sleep, again, so stop the presses.

A lack of curiosity is one of the least redeeming features of anyone, anywhere.

Among the many differences between Julia and Jakob is that Jakob is sincere. His particular brand of quirk can reasonably be judged as douchey, but the guy is sincere and, as Loren pointed out, Jakob actually builds things and seems to have a genuine intellectual curiosity in people and things other than himself.

Also, in the aftermath of the debacle with Julia, he kept the fuck out of it and certainly didn't use it for further exposure. Contrast that with how many times Julia mentions or alludes to him and it is clear who was using whom.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I would find him cute if he weren't such a self-absorbed prick. Seriously folks, put anyone next to Julia and they look likable and sane. Lodwik is as full of self-love and delusions of importance as Jaba is.

  29. Who cares about Jakob, can we please address why the hell a late 20s woman thinks it's cute to dress up in a slutty Santa costume and take a Christmas card-style picture? It's effing creepy.

  31. Can someone PLEASE post the comment Julia made about Mark Zuckerberg so I can email it to Randi Zuckerberg?

I think she ought to know :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Julia’s favorite pictures of me are ones where I’m speaking to a crowd. They turn her on. One of her biggest turn-offs is Mark Zuckerberg. I can’t figure out exactly why, though she did meet him years ago and I guess he grossed her out directly. The man definitely has a weak handshake.

Anyway, I wonder what she thinks of this photo of a spiffed-up Zuck. He’s wearing cool clothes and appears to be competently explaining something to crowd of people who are probably interesting, because he is in a special presentation room with mood lighting and no stage.

    ReplyDelete
  33. *if it wasn't clear, I posted the above post from J&J. It was written by Jakob about Julia's contempt for her friend, Zucks.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Julia Allison very obviously befriended Randi Zuckerberg around the time Randi got engaged, hoping to score an invite to her wedding = access to Mark Zuckerberg. Mark was Julia's top tech geek target for a while. Remember the photos of Julia crashing Randi's bachelorette weekend in Vegas? Clearly, Mark has no interest in her but Julia keeps riding those Facebook coattails like there's no tomorrow. She uses Randi but I am not sure what Randi gets out of it, besides being the homely dork happy to sit at the lunchtable with the old and busted cheerleader.

  35. So wait, Jakob only blogged for a week on Jakob and Julia?

    ReplyDelete
  36. He's right that she has no cultural knowledge, but it's hilarious that his idea of 'cultural knowledge' is Radiohead, Star Wars and pot.

Such a Renaissance man, that Jakob Lodowick.

    ReplyDelete
  37. What's funny about it though, 12:40, is she had no knowledge of any of those ordinary things.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Give Jakob some credit, assholes. She would use the fact that he didn't graduate from college against him. He is pompous but at least he has a genuinely quirky, curious personality.

Didn't she get high with him once? I'm not trying to spread rumors but I really think I remember Jakob making some sort of comment that she had tried it during their relationship (on his old blog, maybe?). Maybe someone knows ...?

I also remember that Julia would at least try to make her content interesting when the two were dating. She was posting 30+ day during their relationship (something that the Bravo people might have seen as potential for a show) and would sometimes make an effort to add her opinion on tech or world affairs. She always wanted him to be more like Ricky. She'll blame her downfall on her breakup with him, but that is really when she was at her peak and she allowed her options to vanish.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I would find a post like this really condescending, but Jakob was probably just socially awkward whereas Julia is social toxicity.

Big question: What happened to her deal with Spelling to make a TV show based on her college columns? Like, specifically? I wish I knew how she messed that up. I think the money she has left is the money she got when Spelling Television purchased the rights to her columns ...

    ReplyDelete
  40. God forbid Jakob didn't go to college; I fucking hate people like Julia who act like they're so above people who didn't go to college.
Maybe he had some aspirations beyond bragging rights to his second year transfer school paid for by his parents only to go on to aspire to make "fuck you money."
And as Jakob and many others have proven, you sure as Hell don't have to go to college just to be smart and have a sucessful career, JULIA.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Sorry, but Julia wins the culture round. I remember her complaining that he had suddenly become obsessed with Ayn Rand, which she identified as something most intelligent people got over in high school.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Um, sorry, but Julia tweeting quotes from "He's Just Not That Into You" like they are some sort Deep Thoughts makes her an automatic loser in any culture war.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think Jakob went to Reed College but didn't finish. There's a common bread of intelligent/creative types that don't make it through college but leave early, instead, to make big bucks doing something new/different/unique. Jakob is of this bread.

Julia is just a girl whose Mom got her into Georgetown after a year of barely making it through Indiana University (A good school that will not EVER coddle you). She was coddled throughout her Georgetown years by the administration and barely passed her courses.

    ReplyDelete
  44. 1.21:
She probably read that somewhere, because a number of smart blogs were making fun of the sudden rediscovery of Ayn Rand at that time. In terms of exploring and embracing culture, he is way ahead of her.
She may be good in cultural buzzwords like:
    ballet - nutcracker
    shakespeare - romeo and julia
little mermaid - disney!!! (fail, anderson)
When it comes to engaging with content, meaning etc. she may try to bluff her way through a conversation, but from what I've read of her, she does not command cultural knowledge worth mentioning.
Also, someone who goes to a museum to snap pictures of themselves is out, I'm sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I remember reading an IM exchange between Rachel Sklar and Jabba where Jabba proclaimed that she never heard of the movie "Roots." I remember she said "I must be showing my age." Like she was too young to know about a classic movie, never mind that it was made from a classic novel.

    ReplyDelete
  49. You must be kidding me! I wasn't around when Roots was on TV either but we watched it in 10th grade world history.

Sorry about the Reed mix up, Betsy. RIT...Of course he went to RIT!

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Total Jing. Not kidding. The exchange is somewhere on Gawker. Julia was probably cutting out pictures of Paris Hilton when they showed Roots in school.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Julia wrote this post around Christmas time 08' about how television was rarely allowed in her house and her parents made her brother and her listen to lectures on tape. She mentioned a specific series.

    ReplyDelete
  52. She looks like a stripper hired to perform at a suburban office-park Christmas party in that picture. And he looks like the gooney mail-room boy thrilled to pose with the hired stripper.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Jackles should take a close look at the Fortune 500 list. Some of the most successful entrepreneurs on there are college and/or high school dropouts. And wow, she certainly has done a ton of great work with her college degree, huh? She might as well have dropped out of elementary school. Loser.

    ReplyDelete
  54. From Jakob's old blog, an interesting gem from December 2007:

Then he presented me with five huge boxes from Saks, which he wrapped with big red bows and placed on the bed and said ‘Pick the one you like’.

    — Julia, on Michael, the ideal she was trying to transform me into, and failed, just as any other force in the universe would have.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Being coddled at Georgetown is definitely a serious exception received through money, sexual favors or God only knows what else.

I got my ass kicked for four years but then again, I was in a legit program with legit courses. She took the easiest English path possible. And well, everyone is a government major in the College.

  56. Why is this braying jackass yet again getting free clothes from a designer for the WHCD? Why?

    ReplyDelete
  57. And from this post by Julia about Jakob's workplace "Flagpole Sitta" lipdup, the seeds for Nonsociety were born. Edited excerpt:

"I have one of the coolest jobs in Manhattan - getting to write about relationships and talk about myriad subjects on television. But right before I went on my first date with Jakob, I saw this video, which he shot at his office. And I thought to myself,if everyone had that much fun at work, no one would need Prozac [or] alcohol. The first stirrings of workplace-envy were born."

Anon 2:01 I like Jakob's frequent calling out of Julia, like he did in the quote you posted. He was very good at it. I like this video where he tells her how self-conscious she is on camera and that she immediately goes into her pose when the camera's on her. I think he was very perceptive of her flaws and vocal about them and she somehow managed to like him anyway, which seems unsuual for her in that type of situation.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Oops, forgot to link the video, duh. Here it is http://vimeo.com/325746

  59. Having followed this site for aproximately six months, I'm a newcomer to the antics of JA. I have never been able to see the car crash that was her and Jakob's site. Until today. And let me tell you, it has made my day. It backs up all my opinions of JA and more.

    Highlights for me were -

The whine about having to pay for everything including dinner and taxi fares to go on holiday.

The Mark Zuckerberg comment - I laughed heartily when I read that - talk about a toe curling moment!

The 'fuck you' post after Jakob pissed off. Is that any way for a Disney princess to speak?

And finally, what tickles me the most is that she thought that the site had disappeared forever. She will be sitting in her pink bedsit just now breaking into a sweat, panicking, starting blog posts then stopping them because she realises that they will out her as the crazy psycho control freak that she is. She's in the throes of a self inflicted nightmare.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Remember that rant Jakob posted where he calls her an evil narcissist... he pulled it down from his blog quickly but it was a DOOZY.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Yes, this is the pink lover who had never heard of Schiaparelli (sp?). I don't understand people w/o voracious curiosity.

Julia's blog used to be so much fun, imho. The frequent updates, the lack of self-consciousness, the forays into providing actual content...OK, a lot of it was self-focused, but there was an earnestness and a charm to it that I really, really enjoyed.

Honestly, this is probably why I "turned" on her. When her content devolved into a repetitive stream of "Look at my nail polish! Look at my headbands! My life is so NEAT-O! But I'm really insecure, just like you! But I'm HAPPY!" the heart went out of her blog.

I'm convinced that, in real life, JA has redeeming qualities. We've all seen glimpses. But this is where I think her business model fails: She's always talking about how she wants to make her audience into her "friends" (and therefore "enhance" their lives by selling products to them)...but we're not! We're her audience, not her friends.

The thing she could really use to her advantage? We're all captivated.

And to those of you who think that I'm going over to the "Dark Side" - I can guarantee you that I'm not. I'm as bored & irritated by JA as I was yesterday, last week. But I do think it's an interesting progression, how so many of her followers/detractors took the train from fandom to haterville.

  62. OOh, sorry! That was a long-ass post!

  63. Records CustodianMay 6, 2009 at 2:26 PM

Unfortunately, it is probably deleted from the internetverse, but maybe someone saved it.

Everyone knows that JA outed Jakob's mental health issues while trying to garner favor with Gawker commenters. After the amazing backlash, she claimed she just didn't think before she posted it and that she was just "too honest."

But (in the middle of )the night before, she posted the exact same thing on her personal blog and was castigated by a few rebloggers and nasty emailers and she took it down. So she very much did a dress rehearsal of the whole thing and trotted it out again when she had a wider audience.

She is the worst ex girlfriend in the world.

  64. Jack the BulldogMay 6, 2009 at 2:37 PM

Had not known that Jackles tried to belittle Jakob by bringing up her college diploma, an "achievement" rather negligible when one considers Julia's inability to learn and to retain information. I remember students and faculty stopped clapping when she sashayed across the stage to get her worthless diploma, only to end up the Internet equivalent of Ben Lyons.

As DJ noted, perhaps Julia's biggest sin is that she has no curiousity about the world. In that failing Julia reminds me of George W. Bush, another individual of limited intellect who coasted through Andover and then Yale. Used to think that Julia was the embodiment of the smoke and mirrors in the Bush administration, but others have noted that her celebrity appeal might be linked to Obama. Is our Julia for all times?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Or how about the post that his mom wrote about her?! Saying what a terrible person she is.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Jakob's mom's take down of Julia was incredible. Agreed. I've not been able to find that on the net anymore. Was it on her tumblr? His? I forget. I think it was on his mom's tumblr.

  67. "Julia's blog used to be so much fun... the lack of self-consciousness, the... earnestness and.. charm.... I'm convinced that, in real life, JA has redeeming qualities. We've all seen glimpses."

Can't say I agree. I've never found her or her writing charming. The notion of her ever being un self-conscious or earnest is one I just can't even remotely relate to. I think she's been the way she is for a long time, maybe even a lifetime.

But I agree that she seemed to put more actual content on her old blog especially when you consider it was a personal blog and this one is supposed to be a business. But other than that difference the old blog seemed to be the same narcissistic, passive aggressive, shallow, fame obsessed, geared-toward-image-control drivel that's on there now. It was just in greater quantities and maybe a little more self controlled before in my opinion. Of course I respect that you have a different opinion and I know that many RBNS readers are former JA fans.

Just visit his mom's old blog on tumblr called My NY Life and do a search for "Julia." You'll see the post. I remember that soon after Jakob's mom posted her reply Julia deleted her original post. What uncharacteristic behavior coming from her (sarcasm, in case it's not obvious).

    ReplyDelete
  69. OH WAIT! And didn't Jabba write something about how pathetic or sad it was for older people to be blogging? She used that "I couldn't help but wonder..." line and said that it would be sad to be doing that when older. Was that the one she took down?

  71. Not sure of I was ever a "fan" of Julia, but I definitely read the J & J blog without total animosity. She just seemed like the dumb cheerleader who stumbled onto the beatnik crowd (the Jakobs and Emily G.'s).

Since we're talking about it ... I think her popularity was the result of the culture around Gawker and, to a different but important extent, Socialite Rank. I think anyone who studies the case of Julia needs to understand who Tinsley Mortimer is.

She covered media parties for NYMag and HuffPost -- both high-profile gigs for a young college graduate. Back then, her tumblr was interesting because she was attending interesting parties. Hence, "NonSociety." She thought her star was rising and back then it really was. She broke Michael's heart to take her chances on Dave Z. from Men's Health, and she got her Star job and column at TONY that spring. Jakob was the first guy she took seriously after things didn't work out for her romantically. Suddenly she was into tech.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Her rise was only possible because of Socialite Rank and the loose definition of socialite fame, post-Paris, back in the mid-2000s.

And look, now Olivia P. really is reality-show famous.

  73. For those who can't read it, Jacob's mom's post: Until now, I have not publicly said one thing about the relationship between Julia and my son, Jakob. I was tempted, many times, but restrained myself because of my own principles of conduct. No good could come of it, anyway. This time, however, I find myself compelled to remark. Many weeks ago, when things were still good between them, I had a phone conversation with Julia wherein we commiserated about the hurtful, nasty comments on Gawker. I told her that, as a mother, I wondered when reading these anonymous comments whether people would say such things if they knew their mothers were reading them. Coincidentally, she had this self-same idea last night.

Ironically, after I watched with horror this now-infamous public betrayal of Jakob’s trust, I BADLY wanted to email Julia’s mom and ask her if she knew what her daughter was doing. I didn’t do it, though. Why make someone else’s mom feel as horrible as I did?

His mom is calling Jankles out for stealing her idea AND calling her a hypocrite!

Same old, same old. Right, Jankles?

  76. Julia mentioned on her blog a long time ago that when she was asked to list her hobbies on a questionnaire in college the only thing that came to mind was "dating." Her entire personality is one based on dated ideas about sex and marriage. She had no hobbies or interests -- she just wanted to be this doll that men would adore and provide for, and she would adapt and soak up whatever his interests were.

    OMG, so much to say....

I loved the J&J blog. It was such a train-wreck, but in a good way, not the same way as NS is today. It was SO CLEAR that Jakob was on his way to HATING Julia. And I loved the little gems he gave us, such as the above quote about pop culture, which at the time just floored me. When I read that quote, I realized that Julia had serious social issues...she was living in a weird childhood world, as he mentions with the disney music and eighties music (she was a child during the 80s) I also could not believe the shit Julia would put up with from Jakob. She made it painfully clear how little self-esteem she really has. That blog was a goldmine, what a shame it didn't last beyond a few weeks.
Santa Suit: yes, as someone mentioned above, the relationship ended about "11 seconds" after this photo was taken. What an absolute tool, wearing this stupid costume to a Christmas party. And the forcing him into a suit thing: yep, he ran right after that, quite wisely. Oh, Julia. the dating columnist who has no idea how to interact with men. Thanks, RBNS and team, for reposting this J&J stuff. I had forgotten about it.
